No complaints whatsoever.

The welcome and help with my bags. David did everything to ensure guests cared and catered for. Bedroom and en suite bathroom spotless. The room itself was thoughtfully and tastefully presented. The breakfasts were superb. The staff were also congenial and helpful. I was allowed to park my car in one of the two spaces available at the back of the property which was of great assistance to me personally.

Noisy heavy footed guests on the floor above on the first night, perfect after they checked out, though! The road could be a bit noisy.

Everything! Lovely welcome from David, including a welcome brew. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a fabulous sea view. There was a fridge with real milk, not the horrible sachets or cartons. The bathroom was immaculate! Great breakfast, too. It was our anniversary and there was a card and small gift waiting for us 😀

There was nothing not to like.

I had a two night stay as a solo traveller. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. I had a single room with a sea view. It was super comfortable. So many extras I was not expecting. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge variety of things on offer. I thoroughly recommend a stay here.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

From the moment we arrived till we left we had a lovely stay. The guest house was spotless, excellent food (I am coeliac and was well catered for) nothing was too much trouble for David. Everything in the guest house was well throughout, the appliances fan, straighteners and hair dryer were all Dyson top end range. Fresh flowers in the rooms, and lovely homely sideboard on entrance with fresh fruit, water filter for cold water with jugs available. A lovely atmosphere and relaxing break had, will be back again for sure x

Nothing to dislike

Another excellent stay, from the minute we arrived David couldn't do enough for us. Staying in ensuite room3 it has lovely sea views & Cumbrian mountains, comfortable large bed, large tv, fresh milk in mini fridge, & many Dyson products in the room. Breakfast has an excellent choice with fresh local produce, porridge & cereals.Will be returning soon.

The location to the town is a short walk of about 10mins away And David was a excellent host Wouldn't do reviews but this place was excellent. You won't be disappointed 5 star service

Everything, the room was lovely, warm and inviting. Breakfast was tasty and you weren't rushed. David couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be going back.

As always we had a lovely time,Owner David can't do enough to make your stay an enjoyable one & will go out of his way to help you. Our Superior room had everything you would want with great sea views & Cumbrian fells in back ground. Breakfast is excellent as is his efficient service.

There is nothing not to like, it’s that simple.

The attention to detail is absolutely outstanding, down to little things like a book with poems for every night being placed in the room and it’s bookmarked to your stay. The quality to finish in the room is exceptional as in the aesthetic. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner and you are guaranteed a fabulous stay.

Our second time here and just as great as the first time. David is a fantastic host, very friendly and hospitable. The little touches in the rooms such as fresh flowers, treats, milk in the fridge, sleep pillow spray and straighteners really top it off! The breakfasts are amazing too. Definitely be back again next year and thoroughly recommend.

Loved the property

The Broadwater Guest House is fabulous. So many wonderful added touches to make our stay pleasant. The room was fully furnished with, mini fridge, sitting area, nice Dyson hair dryer, Dyson fan. Wonderful toiletries. Breakfast was great!! Beautiful settings. Highly recommend a stay at Broadwater Guest House!!
