Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomliterally only down point is how close it is to the main road. with a 3 year old I was occasionally a bit worried when he wasn't in my eyeline.
the shed barn area was amazing. gorgeous day but almost too warm to sit out so literally spent all day in here. great seating for 6 people and we happily had breakfast, lunch and dinner and plenty of drinks out there. fire place is lovely and cosy. perfect space all year round. bedrooms were perfect and my 3 year old was behind delighted at the box of toys. also loved the slide. kitchen had everything needed and bathrooms were great. we had planned to spend the day out and about and have dinner in local town but cancelled all plans and stayed home. locations is great. we came from Belfast and family travelled from mayo and sligo.

United KingdomIf the fencing around the garden had chicken wire to make it secure it would have been better from a dog-friendly point of view - with the house being right next to the main road we were unable to let the dogs off-lead to roam the garden which was a real shame
The house was a great size, well decorated and had lots of lovely touches to make it homely like fleecy blankets, a little library, towels and welcome gifts of cake and bread. The garden was a great size and well kept, and the outside bar was a great novelty and super addition

United KingdomWe loved everything 💜
My family and I decided to go to The Brook to welcome 2025 and have a relaxing time. We are very grateful to have chosen this place and how good we felt. All the facilities inside and outside the house are wonderful. The fireplace is incredible and we really appreciated the details that Rosemary has put into this place. We were seven people and we were all very comfortable and happy. We want to come back very soon!

United KingdomThe single glazed sash windows which make the cottage so quaint are also a little draughty. The proximity to the main road to Enniskillen, while handy and makes the property easy to find, also makes it a tad noisy as it is busy even during the night. Nothing earplugs won't solve though!
Stunning, beautifully decorated, well equipped cottage with loads of charm and character. Barn area was really cute, unfortunately the weather was too windy to make use of it! Plenty of logs available for the wood burner. Everything you could possibly need for a lovely relaxing family stay.

Stunning house, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Artisan bread and a fresh punnet of strawberries to welcome us on arrival. Every quality mod con you could wish for to serve up family meals. Sumptuous candles, luxurious bath products and evenings spent by the fire made for a very relaxing break. The Brook deserves her 5 star rating.

United KingdomYou are close to the main road which is busy, even during the night so be prepared for traffic noise.
The Brook is located just off the main Enniskillen to Belfast Road and as such is convenient and easy to find. Access was just a phone call away and Rosemary popped over to show you how to work the heating and the fire! The house has been modernised and offers all that a family or group of people would need for a stay in the Fermanagh area with four bedrooms (inc an en suite with the main bedroom). There is an outside covered area for lighting up the fire and enjoying a BBQ as well. The host thoughtfully left some food (inc delicious Irish wheaten bread) to get you started on your break. This is a great property and was excellent value for what was on offer and its convenience!
