Carpet in bedrooms needed a good hoover. No milk in room for tea/coffee. No hot water for shower on last day

The lighting in the room was very dark making putting on make up very difficult.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the pub was very nice. Room was comfortable and nicely decorated and the shower was fantastic. Tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits in the room and milk and fruit available in reception. Easy parking.

choosing a breakfast to the room ... not great products . was only good for the convenience of a kettle timings werent great for the full breakfast which looked (good in the photos ) but we didnt get to experinece which we did try to opt out of , but told we couldnt .

Would have preferred breakfast before 8am due to flying so we could enjoy it longer but otherwise nothing!

Great size room with tea making facilities and extras available at reception. Clean and comfortable and friendly staff. We ordered room service from the pub on the evening which was lovely and delivered quickly. Breakfast was also really good and the pub itself is very nice. Brilliant location for airport

Close to Manchester airport so easy drive to the airport. Plenty of free parking, Nice clean room, comfortable bed, hot powerful shower. Food in the pub was very good and reasonably priced

The room was clean but the carpet needed vacuuming, it definitely had not been vacuumed, as a 60 year old well accustomed to cleaning homes it was very evident. The springs could be clearly felt through the mattress and I was slightly worried, however the bed turned out to be very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had. I read reviews on taxi fares to and from Manchester airport and decided to stay here against the airport hotel, which is where we usually stay, but we were meeting friends for dinner and drinks and thought the pub would be a better choice. The taxi prices in reviews turned out to be not accurate and with a small tip from the airport to the pub in the afternoon was £15 and an early morning taxi from the pub to the airport at 6.00am was £20 which pushes the costs up considerably. Maybe next time it is more economical just to keep the hire car the extra day!

Homely and friendly, location was good, ambience was great, food was great, I had a few vegan options which was great for a small pub. We had to leave early to get an early flight, and we got a vegan continental breakfast delivered at 5.30am which was orange juice, the best choc chip muffin we have ever had and we took some fresh bananas out of the dish in the foyer, enough to put us on till lunch on the plane.

We went out room after breakfast and the corridor was full of towels/bedding on the floor next to each room which was a slight trip hazard and made us feel rushed to check out
