The rooms were a bit dated. But clean and comfortable

It's well placed in the centre of Bakewell with parking close by and included in the rate. The owner Maz was super helpful running up to the trip and couldn't do enough for us once we were there.

The room we stayed in was bang next to the road so was quite noisy with cars and people walking past. The door also didn’t close properly without locking it so one of the staff members just walked straight in.

The location was good for the fact it being in the centre and the staff were very welcoming.

The room was a little too warm and could not turn down the radiator. Just opened the window. Problem solved. Breakfast was ok good produce served on a heated plate but the food was warm to cold which was a bit disappointing.

The accommodation is not above the public house so there was little noise. The room was immaculately clean. There is ample supplies of in room refreshments. The staff were all friendly and professional.

Issues with parking- even though we registered the car with the hotel upon arrival we still received a parking notice fine a week after returning home.

Decor was dated and a few of the exterior fittings are in need of immediate repair, in particular the windows in the restaurant area.

Big room (a little dated). Warm, lovely position by the river with easy walking access to town shops.

The bathroom had a very mouldy ceiling, and the floor tiles were dirty. It was also a bit expensive for what you got, but it is central to Bakewell.

The room itself was excellent - large room, excellent comfortable bed, great firm pillows - I slept well here.

    Cannot think of a negative

Room was spacious, well equipped with a very comfy bed. Ensuite with bath and shower. In a seperate building adjacent to the pub so very quiet. Evening meal was superb and reasonably priced. Nice environment to eat. We had a traditional English breakfast which was beautiful. They do offer other alternatives. The pub was ideally located close to the old town.
