The room was comfortable, there was some evidence of wear on the furniture. It was also evident that the room needed a deep clean. We reported marks of an unknown nature on the wall and the one coffee cup had lipstick on it. It was great to have a room with an opening window although in the morning the extraction from the kitchen meant the smell of the kitchen came straight into the room.

The hotel was easy to find, staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was an upgrade on line so I suspect was larger than a standard room. Bathroom and shower was good. Off road parking was available.

Continental breakfast was very limited; I would have expected a choice of fresh fruit and pastries rather than a bit of melon or an apple and toast or a roll with some processed cheese. Room was small but adequate.

Cooked breakfast seemed fresh and plentiful. Spa facilities were good and readily available. Position of the hotel was very central for access to town and attractions. Staff were generally pleasant and friendly. Lamb rump was delicious!

All very good - room temp in bathroom a littler over bearing but we just shut the door. Little old fashioned but it went with the character- it’s not we didn’t like it as we really did !

After a tough walk up snowdon we were welcomed by the most brilliant staff and that continued throughout our stay. The hotel is lovely and facilities are great Beds were super comfy and food really good. We had a great stay

I little bit dated in places-the bathroom needed shelving for toiletries-the sink and toilet bowl are not the best places! Room could seriously do with bigger TV

The repaint work was good, dinner and breakfasts were good

Service in the restaurant wasn’t great, but that was mostly because we were being accommodated in the lounge, out of sight, because we had our dog with us. So no complaint, really.

Very accommodating for our dog, even preparing a little welcome package for her, which she loved.

Leisure pool staff a bit grumpy. Breakfast was okay but limited eg no pancakes, only one fruit choice.

Big family rooms, great pool facilities. Friendly staff on reception and in restaurant. Fab location, plenty of parking.

Bathroom a little disappointing in that the shower was very difficult to switch on and had to get my husband to turn it on. Not a lot of pressure in the taps and the toilet difficult to flush.

Kids under 16 can only swim until 6pm, however most nights we didn't return to hotel until late. Not a deal breaker but worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with kids.

Excellent location, amazing indoor swimming pool, spacious family room, separate bar (indoor pub) and restaurant. Good selections for breakfast. Car parking dotted around the hotel with lots of space. Overall highly recommend hotel for visit to Snowdonia and surrounding areas.

Beware when parking at front of hotel. The parking spaces at the front of hotel are very narrow. We had parked carefully between lines, however another driver had difficulty negotiating parking, caused damage to.our car and drove off without leaving details. As our car has cameras all around car and with video footage from hotel..we were able to pass info on car involved to North.Wales Police and insurance company. If spaces were bigger and cars prevented from parking directly in front of the spaces...this may have been prevented. Staff however at hotel were very helpful.
