The shower pressure was poor. The shower gel dispenser was pitiful. The TV was tiny and its operation was awful.

Delightful pub and staff. The room was well decorated and comfortable with each room having direct access to the outside. Plenty of parking. I would comeback

It was quite cold and we couldn't get the radiators on TV didn't work - not major of course but was a bit odd Definitely need breakfast or be informed of where to go for breakfast, only thing this pub is missing is something in the mornings. They do supply tea/coffee!

Really great location Staff were friendly and the rooms are actually separate to the pub a bit so it didn't feel like you were staying in a pub. Also good sound proofing. Rooms were very lovely!

The car park was being used by a group displaying their cars which apparently is a regular feature. Bit noisy.

Location was fabulous, apart from the apartment was just above the pub garden which was busy all night so fairly loud. The food in the pub was really nice, staff was really nice and the apartment was very spacious

I want to stress that the following wasn't a problem for me. I knew what I was booking - a room attached to a pub close to a busy railway line. However, if you are a very light sleeper and/or go to bed early it may be something you might want to consider before booking.

I arrived just after my notified check in time and asked at the bar about checking in as there was no obvious 'reception' desk. The friendly, welcoming, courteous staff quickly confirmed my booking completed the check in and showed me to my room. My room, in a converted 'stable' block directly off the car park, was spacious and clean and was very pleasant. Plenty of tea/coffee/sugar/milk was provided along with bottled water. Ample storage was provided by a wardrobe, bedside tables and a desk all fitted with drawers. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great with strong water pressure. The bed was comfy and the pillows were fine. I dined in the pub restaurant on my first night and although I hadn't booked and the place was very busy (always a good sign) a table was quickly found. I had the steak and ale pie which was delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere was good. A very enjoyable experience and I would consider staying at The Coachman again. Thank you.

Basic but meets your needs for a short stay in the area.

As we were staying one night attending a party near by the accommodation met our needs. Having the pub on site was perfect. The lovely young man who checked us in and served us was very pleasant and happy to chat.

Having stayed in the Flat 7years ago, I was surprised to see that it was exactly the same, except 1 bed had been taken out of the bedroom. The brick wallpaper was still there , It needed updating then, I thought that under new owners, it might have had a coat of paint. But apart from that I would recommend staying there,

it is very close to my son, and you can walk to the shops. And the railway station is just across the road. It has everything you need, the kitchen, has cooker, fridge, Microwave, toaster,kettle. The Pub serves excellent food. It was also spotlessly clean. And is quite reasonable. I would stay there again

Lovely pub great food room away from pub but the car park and people walking past was a problem for the dog need a second door so the dogs can't see and will make it also quite which would of help the dog
