Lovely and quaint guest house in a perfect location.

Parking was a bit hard as we had to pull around the back and navigating (as we're not used to driving on the other side) was a bit tight to get out. But, it was fine in the end!

The Coos Guest House was perfectly located for an easy walk into town and was in a lovely location. We loved the Cow photo op and enjoyed taking a pic before we left!

A lot of signage, with rules and instructions. Madrid it feel less welcoming than others I've stayed in, although I understand it is a self check in but there was so much signage I saw different ones everything I entered.

Room was clean and had everything i needed. Location was great, quick walk to the city center but in a quiet area.

The house was exactly as shown in the photos. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. A big advantage is the private parking, which made things much easier. I also appreciated the espresso machine and the daily housekeeping service. It’s very close to the city center and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this place again.

Comfortable and quiet location, just a short drive to the city. There were no eating facilities at the hotel but was not a problem for us as we preferred to eat in town. The Mustard Seed restaurant was excellent.

Convenient, Clean, and Affordable Stay in Inverness
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Deluxe Double Room
    • Stayed 1 night

Bathroom was a little tight, though serviceable. The 'common room' closed too early. No place to get ice. Coffee maker did not work properly.

Location in Inverness is convenient and relatively easy to reach. PARKING! Instructions for self-serve entry were clear. We had 2 rooms - one on ground floor for 2 adults and toddler, 1 upstairs for 4 adults with a double bed and 2 singles. Just enough space, if a little snug. Price for a place in the city was good. Easy walking distance to the quaint part of town. All in all it served as a good, clean, safe place for one night.

    N/A

Had a lovely one-night stay in the guest house - the bed was amazingly comfy. Adequately sized despite being a small room and small bathroom. Blonde moment for me when I had to ask the owner how the bedroom door opened, not noticing the instructions sign on the bedroom door - he could have told me to check out the sign on the door but instead was very gracious and showed me how the obvious instructions work! Top marks!!

Parking is tricky. The surrounding streets are for permit holders and Coo’s has space for 4 cars, the 4th ’spot’ being several feet behind another parked car which is not obviously indicated when arriving on a rainy dark evening. No lift to 2nd floor rooms. Other guests may be clearly heard when the exit and enter the hallways. Single room is tiny (as is the bathroom).

Darling Highland Cow (coo) decor with witty room names. Coffee and tea with necessary appliances in room.

Rather overpriced when no breakfast is offered. Cups and utensils for the tea tray were disposable which is not good imo for the environment.

Comfy beds, reasonable sized bathroom, good space to store stuff, the no contact aspect, though not used I liked the storage for bikes, luggage & motorcycles, and I liked the coffee machine.

Bedroom was tiny - I'd hoped that I could have access to kitchen/dinette which would allow for space to do some work at a table, but the said available guest-lounge was only open between 3.30pm-8.30pm. Not the freedom I had hoped for....

Close to town; room was clean, bathroom was clean! Single bed was ok

Very impersonal - Access is granted via a message & key codes. No check in. Lounge closed at 8.30pm. Sadly we had our dinner in the fridge & had not noticed that it closed at that time. We got back to our room at 9.15pm & couldn't access it. Tried to contact staff to see if we could get our dinner & were told no we'd have to wait until the morning. Our fault entirely, but felt a little unhelpful as it was a keycode door as well! Expensive for what it is!! But then all Inverness B&Bs, guesthouses & hotels are well overpriced compared to many other tourist towns/cities we've stayed.

Lovely comfy bed & pillows. Very clean & well presented room. Private Parking Availability of a lounge with a fridge Coffee machine in room.
