Nothing, it had everything we needed at a great price.

Easy to get to and parking available. Ideal location and the room had everything we needed. Communication was brilliant and we were able to check in early with no issues. Breakfast was lovely and the lady who served us was wonderful! Would absolutely stay here again.

The location was just a short walk from the town shops eateries i felt happy with the parking for my motorcycle My room was a single and i was remarking to myself how much comfort in a small room with a private en suite toilet shower and murile (not sure about the spelling) was very helpfull and ray who greeted me on arrival.

I could not find a shaver socket in our bathroom (perhaps I missed it). The breakfast servings included orange and apple juice, toast and yoghurt, but there was no fresh fruit provided (this would have made the breakfast exceptional).

Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent with a proper sliding door to prevent any water leakage. The cooked breakfasts ordered in advance and served with coffee and tea were lovely. A special note of thanks to Muriel, who made us feel most welcome at breakfast and served our food.

The breakfast was mediocre, didn’t get my order right the first day though, the lady who helps set up the dining room and served breakfast was exceptionally helpful and friendly, didn’t see the hosts though

No lighting at the side of the bed so just main room lights.

Perfect quiet location in Windermere, idea for buses and train station. Very comfortable bedroom. Good car parking on site. Friendly, helpful lady at breakfast. Have stayed before and would definitely stay again.

The location was great, with easy access to buses and the train, although we chose the car. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well cooked, and a lovely lady looked after us really well. Also parking was a real bonus although limited spaces.

1. Toilet is relatively small. Can't sit on the toilet bowl properly as the heater is right in front of the toilet bowl 2. Cracking wooden floors. You can hear other people from upstairs walking here and there. Can be difficult to sleep when upstairs keep walking around causing a lot of stomping and cracking sound

1. Great location - very near the train station and other stores within minutes of walk. You can find a number of food options nearby as well as supermarket/ convenience stores 2. Big TV and room size 3. The best of everything is the hearty breakfast - glad that I stay 3 nights to enjoy the daily breakfast. Such a good meal to start the day 4. Super value for money given all these

Staff dont seem equipped to deal with allergies or very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions.

The room was good but with a few issues.. the toilet was a bit cramped and getting into the shower was tight..larger people would struggle...

I felt instantly at home and comfortable at the Cottage. I especially enjoyed the breakfast provided. Staff were friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location was 10/10. 12 minute walk to lake Windermere. 1 or 2 minutes from all restaurants and bars. Parking included. Brilliant stay.
