We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious but expensive. If we stay again we would go out to dinner. Steep stairs were difficult for our elderly mother.

The property is an old house with quirky modern interiors. The bedroom had beautiful soft furnishings. The shower was great with lovely quality soaps and hair products. Loved the Dyson hairdryer and Nespresso machine. Also loved the snack cupboard and cookie when we left. Breakfast was excellent. Staff really friendly.

The room was too small noting that it was advertised as a Dinky Double.

staff were extremely helpful. The welcome card was a nice touch and the sweet goodies were appreciated as was the complimentary water and biscuits on our departure.

I felt charging £20 a night for the car park when it was part of the hotel's own land and was not open to non residents left a sour taste. We ended up paying £60, which added 10% to our bill. If they changed this to no charge, or at a push a more reasonable amount, there would have been nothing I could write here as there was nothing I didn't like.

Really lovely staff and a very warm and informative welcome from Ellen. Comfortable lounge with complimentary soft drinks and sweets was a nice touch. Nice to have fresh milk on hand for tea and coffee in the room without having to ask. Easy 10 minutes walk into Bath. Lovely views from our room over the cricket pitch to the Abbey. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious, generous amounts of coffee. The bed was comfy and the shower was really good. Towels were amazing - big and thick.

Water pressure for the shower was really poor. My only complaint, everything else was spot on.

The room was stunning and so spacious, the bed was outstanding, probably the best night sleep I have had in years!! Great all round. Would highly recommend.

I had the best time at the Bird Hotel!!! the room, facilities, cleanliness, everything matched my expectations. the food though - WAS AMAZING. I would recommend the steak - I had it both nights I stayed there. They have a wide range of mocktails as well, my personal favourite was the flamingo mocktail. What made the entire stay 10 times better was the staff - so kind, friendly, helpful and attentive. Camillia, Harmony and team, thank you for making my stay such a great one. Will definitely be coming back!!!! xx

I didn’t stay for long enough. I did find it hard to find as I hadn’t been to Bath before. Maybe a Roadside sign

I liked the location, friendliness, cleanliness and how we were treated in every part of the Hotel from Breakfast to the Bar. Receptionist Camillia gave us an upgrade to Abbey King No 22 as it was my Wife’s Birthday

Being charged £20.00 for car parking 45:minutes after booking out time 11:00 we had a local appointment and returned as expected at 11:45. Perhaps I shouldn't have been so honest!

There was nothing that we didn't like . But bear in mind if you book the Diddy double . It is what it says on the tin so to speak . But that doesn't mean that there was anything wrong with it very clean and had all that you needed in it

It was a lovely stay . From start to finish . A phone call the day before to make sure that they didn't need to know anything before we arrived . When we were there they were so helpful and we friendly . Lovely touches. Such as a whole snack shelf with sweets fruit . Soft drinks water . Fresh milk for your room for the tea and coffee . We had the breakfast which had a lovely menu and tasted just as good . The freshly made yoghurt was the best item tasted . Then to top things off when we checked out they offered us water to take with us a a bag of freshly made cookies. A really nice end to a very nice stay . Would 💯 %stay there again .

Shower was cold in the morning , could have done with some pre warning about the boiler but the receptionist the next morning (who knew it was an issue) didn’t seem that bothered. It’s lots of money to pay not to have a hot shower ☹️

Lovely hotel and it’s so great that they are truly dog friendly. This is the first time we have stayed in a hotel with our fur baby and it was perfect. They even provided a bed, bowl and a little treat box for my pooch too, which was a lovely touch. The rooms are lovely and the bed was super comfy, we also had a lovely view over the green. Location is fab and a short walk takes you into the heart of Bath. Parking is also convenient too.
