Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA cute little apartment, well equipped with great shower room. Nice private and peaceful outdoor space too which was perfect given the lovely weather during our stay.

United KingdomRoad was very bumpy. Caution to other travellers. Space is cosy and quiet but practically ontop of the host.
Loved the beaches.

United KingdomThe Cove was perfect for my stay - it was so comfortable and clean and had everything you needed including an outside space where I enjoyed my coffee in the morning. The location was ideal to explore the peninsula by car and just a 10 minute walk away was Pennard Castle towering over the stunning views of Three Cliffs Bay. I thoroughly enjoyed my Welsh cakes, which Julia, my host, kindly left in a welcome basket. I'd highly recommend staying at The Cove, you'll love it!

United KingdomThere was an old carton of milk left in the fridge that had gone off. The shower was boiling hot with no.option to cool. The back window of the annexe looked out onto a dumping ground of garden rubbish :(
Julia the host was very accommodating. She charged our car at cost price & left a lovely welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk & Welsh cakes.

SwitzerlandSuper cute, cosy place for a short stay. It has everything you need. The access road can be a bit of a challenge but it's really not that bad as some comments suggest. We loved the quiet surroundings and very kind and welcoming neighbours. We got chatting to some dog owners and made some friends. It's a great place to start so many walks we were not able to do even half of what we wanted. The little garden in front of the house is a nice addition. We really enjoyed the stay.

United KingdomThe road leading to the property was unmade with severe potholes. Anyone with a small, or low sports type car would probably have real trouble. It felt quite claustrophobic as the hedges to the front of the small garden were very high, so the views in the lovely location were obstructed.
It was a lovely location for walking across the golf course towards Three Cliffs Bay. Beautiful views.

United KingdomNo fault of the property lady, but the road is still a minus for the overall classification as we needed to use it to move around and it’s very bumpy. We had a Renault Clio and could do it but it was hard. The place is cute and small so if we have stayed for a week, it would have been too small. On a minor note, no hairdryer.
The outside garden was lovely, the bed was double standard and comfortable. The bathroom was good and shower was excellent. The place seems environmentally friendly. We had a welcome pack with teas, coffees, milk and Welsh cakes. It’s very close to Parc le Breos and you can walk to Three Cliffs, which was lovely.

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. The road leading to the property is just a dirt track, as mentioned in other reviews, but this didn’t cause us any issues in our normal car.
Julia made us and our two dogs feel very welcome. Blankets were provided for both the bed and the sofa, just incase they jumped up, which was a thoughtful gesture. We loved the location, peaceful and secluded but just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed; comfortable bed, good shower BBQ plus the addition of a Ninja air fryer. If you love walking and want access to the stunning coast path, this is the ideal location.

Beautiful, peaceful location with footpaths to the coastal path, three cliffs bay and the castle on your doorstep. Studio was basic with everything we needed and very cute and cosy. Nice welcome pack with welsh cakes and milk. Fluffy towels and nice bedding. Good wifi and attentive host. We would definitely stay there again.

United KingdomThe unmade up road to the property is very rough in parts and you need a robust car. I was given good directions by the owner but still managed to go wrong! Would be very difficult to locate in the dark as no street lights.
Lovely location.

United KingdomThe road leading up to the apartment was unmade, virtually a dirt track with stones embedded as well as loose stones. This is the main reason for not travelling to other places which we would have liked to.
The local people were friendly and we could walk to Southgate and the castle. Our dog loved the walks and we only used the car one day to go to to Rhossili.
