Although the rooms were cleaned daily, the only nit pick I had was with the hoovering. Not necessary every day, but just if I had to pick out something that would be it. Otherwise perfect!

The staff was lovely, the rooms generously sized, the beds fluffy, the bath tub INCREDIBLE. Absolutely incredible place to stay. Also the food was the best!

After a long journey, the hotel looked incredibly welcoming on approach and the staff on the desk couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Any question I had (and I had many!) was answered quickly and helpfully - whether it was about the ferry, local cabs, or where I could do a sea dip! We felt at home from the beginning and we were very grateful for a room upgrade. We have family in Troon who stay in Arran fairly frequently and have recommended staying here on their next trip. A trip that we will remember for a long time, and hugely down to the friendly staff both at the front and in the bar/restaurant.

£10 extra per dog. But when two small, non shedding dogs who share the same crate will cost £20 but one big, shedding dog, in same size crate only costs £10. I feel that’s wrong.

Location. Off the ferry and into the hotel's carpark, perfect. Staff. Friendly, professional, accommodating. Made our stay feel homely. Room. Very clean, spacious, comfortable and cozy. Great views. Good facilities, I loved the bath. Had really good nights sleep. Woke up opened the blinds and I'm greeted with fantastic views of the sea and a snow topped mountain, just... just fabulous. Breakfast. Excellent selection of continental and hot breakfast. You can bespoke your hot breakfast, e.g., just sausage and eggs. Dinner. We had dinner in the hotel one evening and had fish and chips. The food was delicious with very good portions. At the other end of the town is the Ormidale Hotel. The pub was awesome! The people were so friendly. It serves the best pub food I've had in a long long time. The have good selections of whisky. You need to go there. Naz is awesome and we had some good chats about the whiskys. The distillery tours are a must. We drove around the island, around 50 miles, stopping at various points to take in the stunning scenary. The beaches are beautiful. It's a variation of everything on one beautiful island, landscapes, geology and wildlife.

The hotel was so easy to get to. Staff were amazing with us from start to finish. So welcoming and helpful. Food was great. View was perfect from our room and the hotel itself is beautiful.

It was spotless and the staff were friendly and professional. Cozy atmosphere and the food was fabulous.

Felt the room could have been in a little better condition and was not entirely matching pictures of the rooms we seen prior to booking. Room was clean but the throw on the bed did appear dirty.

Beautiful building and great bar and restaurant. Amazing staff (especially Jack) and food.
