Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Stairs are steep for anyone with mobility issues but we were fine
2nd stay here and not disappointed. Great food and very welcoming. Like the continental brekkie as we had an early start. Will definitely return

The only issue we had was a smell from the bathroom but when the building is 400 years old you have to expect some little issues.
The staff are absolutely lovely nothing was too much trouble. It was the perfect location to get to the airport in the early hours to catch our flight.

Husband was a little gutted no tv to watch the Man U game. But even then they offered to drop us to their sister pub, who did.
It’s a lovely village pub. Lovely food, the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially with airport drop off and pick ups. Also the room was spotless

The steps up to the rooms were very steep and narrow as someone with difficulty walking these were not ideal, The TV fell off the wall bracket.
Lovely and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and lovely clean room.

The communication prior to our visit was poor, all communication goes through Booking,com as when I rang the pub to confirm the Sunday restrictions re food which meant we would be arriving earlier than previously stated I was told that all questions would be answered through Booking.com and no one was available to talk to me!! There were no decaffeinated coffee sachets available in the room although we were offered a sachet of ground decaf coffee that is used in the coffee machine at the bar but unless we had also been given a cafetiere this was of no use.
We had used the Dundry Inn before so knew the property and were aware of the steep stairs to the rooms, this could be an issue for those with mobility issues. We arrived on a Sunday, food is only served until 1700 but they accommodated our early arrival and request for a late lunch/early dinner! Breakfast is a DIY affair with instant porridge, fruit and muesli bars on offer. We had a very early start so took the muesli bars to eat on the hoof!!

Not the easiest place to get to with the narrow lanes if travelling in the dark. But location very convenient for Bristol Airport

Comfortable room with roomy en-suite. Good selection of breakfast snacks if needed. We had a great meal in the bar downstairs and the staff were friendly. The Dundry Inn arranged transfers to and from the airport for us at a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend.

We had to self check in due to arriving after midnight and the property did not reply after several messages to ask if that would be okay and therefore we had to ask a family member to ring the property due to us being abroad. It was all then sorted and we were sent self check in details.
Very close to Bristol airport so easy for a stop over! Bed was SO comfy and the bedding so lovely and soft!

There was cereals fruit buscuits and tea and coffee in room to come and go as you please. Ideal as a stop over for Bristol Airport. We arrived 6 hrs late due to storm which diverted us to Birmungham but host greeted us at midnight. A very big Thank you.

Water pressure in shower not very high.
Nice and quiet location. Perfectly situated for our needs. Food was great and staff were very helpful and friendly . Room was well stocked with complimentary teas and coffee. Would definitely stay again, especially for the pub food! Great Caribbean food on the menu.
