Music from the pub below was a little loud but did stop by midnight.

The host who checked us in was super friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for places to visit. Location was great, right next to a train station and walking distance from the city area. Room was clean with a shower and sink as well as a kettle for tea! Shared bathroom was clean and close to rooms. Would definitely recommend for short stays!

    Nothing.

Kitchen was closed for my stay so I can't comment on the food. The manager and staff were always very helpful, indeed they couldn't have done more for me. Great admosphere in the bar and a pub quiz the night I stayed.

There was a very bad smell in the room, and the beds were quite uncomfortable. The room was quite noisy until past midnight and there's a window with no curtain, so it was very bright at 5.30 am.

Location was quite good, walking distance from restaurants, pubs and main train station from the airport (15-20 minutes). People at reception were nice as well.

My room does need renovating, especially the skylight that didn't close completely. Having said that, how can you complain with such a low price?

Excellent location, as only 15 minutes walk to the centre of Manchester. The room was clean and the shower worked perfectly. The great thing is the price. I cannot think of a place comparable that offers such a deal. There's even a pub downstairs.

There was a bunch of stuff that needed fixing, but that was reflected in the price. I struggled to sleep, but that wasn't really the venue's fault - it was a very humid night! The window didn't open far, but I suspect that this can be for insurance purposes.

Staff were friendly, price reasonable, amd great location.

The only natural light/ventilation was a high skylight directly above the beds, which had no shade. So on a June morning, awaking at 5am it was very bright. Recommend bringing an eye mask if you find it hard to sleep in daylight. The mattress was a little saggy, though it didn't hinder my sleep. The lock on the bathroom door was damaged. It was possible to lock it, but you had to improvise slightly.

Great location, next to Salford Central station, and well within a mile's walk of the city centre/coach station. Bar staff friendly and immediately showed me to my room, explaining the facilities, and the need to pay a deposit for an outside key if planning to be out later than 11:30pm. Room and bathroom (across the landing from room 8 on the top floor) were both clean and spacious. No check-out procedure, simply leave key in your room, and exit as early as you want.

Would have appreciated that every guest got a late night key automatically without a deposit. Would have also appreciated toiletries.

The room was big and spacious. The staff members were polite. And it was only a 10-15 min walk from the city center.

The bed was absolutely terrible, felt like it was made in the 50's and had the same mattress, new owner is doing a good job of doing the place up, but as a priority, GET A NEW BED IN ROOM 1!

I was underwhelmed with the beds/linen, which is an easy improvement.

The spacious accommodations are above the Pub itself and I was greeted in the warmest ways with a open mic session that evening and very welcoming faces. 100% quiet once in the room. All very easy and relaxed. It is a 'vintage' venue.

I arrived on a thursday, and the adjacent pub had live music playing until 20ish minutes past midnight. It gets really loud as you're right on top of it, but perfectly calm after they finish, so I didn't mind too much, as this is usually when I'll head to bed anyways.

Lovely host, spacious and clean room, lots of light. The beds were firm, which I personally prefer.
