We wanted a bath in our room but had to pay £100 extra for a bath which I think is ridiculous

Bed wasn't the comfiest as even for a short person my feet were hitting the post at the bottom. A shower without a bath would have been good too but minor faults on a great stay.

Staff were absolutely superb and friendly. We had our young labrador with us and they were wonderfully accommodating for her! Food and atmosphere was great in the pub and restaurant. Would recommend anything with Smoked salmon in it!

Very small room overlooking a car park, shower was a bath mixer shower type of fitting but no shower screen or rail to support the shower head made showering very difficult. Wall mounted television was only a little larger than an iPad. Very much overpriced for what was a very basic and dated room with very little facilities. Cat walking around the breakfast dining area had me questioning hygiene standards. Bed however was very comfortable and room was clean.

The inn could use some updating (new carpets) and a bit of tidying up in the common areas. Our room was nice but the windows didn't offer much privacy without curtains fully drawn which would then prevent ventilation. Biggest complaint is the VERY bright floodlight on the pub that points into the windows of the room. It is clear whoever installed this light didn't consider the nighttime comfort of the guests.

No secure bike storage was disappointing given the hotel is right on National Cycle Route 7. Even stashing a bike in a store cupboard or outbuilding overnight would be appreciated.

Stunning room and location. The food was great - the fish dishes looked particularly good. Breakfast was particularly good.

The position of the bed against the wall made it a little tricky to walk around the bed and the rest of the room.

We stayed in the coverted building outside of the main Inn. It was a lovely room with a little more space than a hotel. Good parking.

Our room was above the kitchen and smelled of cooking all night. Room too hot, but couldn’t ventilate properly due to the food smells Shower is just a bath attachment and not great.
