Everything. Great place to stay in the hideaway huts. home from home. Everything you needed inside and well equipped. Very clean. comfortable bed. Beautiful scenery. Sat and watched the wildlife on our balcony. Exceptional welcome basket from helen. Great location for Hadrians wall.

Great rural location, yet within short distance of many local attractions. Quirky yet comfortable accommodation, great shower, lovely kitchen facilities and some local / homemade treats provided on our arrival!

Very clean, homely and convenient location. Lovely welcome pack, kindly made vegan on request. Super comfortable bed and generally very well equipped (nice telescope!)

Lovely cozy hut, away from it all - small but thoughtfully arranged with everything we needed. Fantastic welcome food - fresh eggs, cheese, bacon, milk & orange juice plus homemade bread, cake, scones, jam, marmalade plus butter - amazing & delicious- we really enjoyed our break - lots to see & do - Sci-Fri museum & a musical in Newcastle to name but two!!! 😀😀

A fantastic rural location - very tranquil and peaceful Fantastic hospitality from the hosts Very comfortable and homely shepherds hut - well equipped (Totally suitable for self catering if that's what you want to do) Very close to all the main sights on Hadrian's Wall Totally Recommended !

Nothing! Everything was exactly as we'd expected (plus some bonuses!)

The Hideaway Huts is in a wonderful location with awesome views that never get old. The hut was exactly as pictured online with plenty of space for 2 people. The kitchen was very well equipped and the washing machine in the bathroom was very useful. It was a definite bonus to arrive to a box of locally sourced and homemade goods - it was a really welcoming and personal touch. The Huts are within reach of plenty of attractions and we left feeling very rested.

Having to leave...

These charming properties are set in a beautiful location with wonderful views and are ideal for visiting the local area, particularly Hadrians’s Wall, The Sill and Vindolanda. The array of tasty homemade & locally produced treats were a very welcome surprise (thank you Helen) and the range of equipment, bedding, toiletries and printed information provided by the hosts are excellent; strategically placed bird feeders also provide endless opportunity to watch an array of birds dropping by from dawn ‘til dusk (binoculars kindly provided too)

Helen and Damian were excellent hosts. It was clear they’d really put a lot of thought into what people might need whilst on holiday. Nice welcome pack, good storage for your bikes, very comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen. Even ability to use Netflix!! Great location for walking and cycling. Thoroughly recommend it.

Remote location, great views, fab little hut with so many facilities and great finishing touches! Nice to see the extras such as eggs and bacon all locally sourced!
