Very happy with the room and the property as a whole!! Extremely comfortable bed! I requested the Deluxe Romantic package and it was the icing on the cake...had a fantastic weekend! Would recommend to anyone and will definitley be returning myself hopefully in the near future :)

Upon arrival staff where excellent the Howbeck was very clean and well presented we stayed in the retreat room was excellent spacious clean and very comfortable breakfast was 10/10 aswell

Not really anything bad, but the light in the bathroom was pretty bright, would be nice to have a dimmer option for using the spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious and arrived in good time, team were all really friendly and helpful and I used the discount at a local restaurant which was an added bonus, thanks! The selection of tea/coffee in the room and honesty bar were also great!

Where to start 🥰 ? Firstly the room was met our expectations, beautiful , warm , clean , of high standard, supplied with outstanding amounts of beverage supplies and biscuits . The four poster bed was comfortable and fabulously of great character. The bathroom with the massive spa bath. Was relaxing and a nice change for relaxing. The staff are friendly. Very helpful , very courteous and went behond there time to explain the area etc. This place is one of the best places to stay sorry the only place you should book . Oh and breakfast was tasty , hot , and absolutely spot on . Thank you for your hospitality. See you again very soon .

Nothing to dislike, no problems encountered.

Easy to find and check in. Room comfy, we were the only guests staying that night so super quiet sleep. Room clean, comfy. Breakfast was as expected. Check out efficient.

The room size was small, the facilities were average and in my opinion the room was slightly overpriced for an advertised "luxury" room.

Staff were great and very helpful. Bed was a good size and very comfortable.

Hotel was in a great location, right near the centre of Windermere and only a 20 min walk to Bowness. The room was cosy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, home cooked breakfast each morning made the trip even better! Would love to stay here again!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike !

When we checked in the lady on reception was friendly and very helpful. The room was immaculate, cosy and incredibly welcoming. We loved the “honesty bar” where we could chill after a stressful week at work. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Perfectly cooked and presented,in a relaxed environment. Thank you for a perfect stay !

Driveway a real squeeze god larger vehicles in the dark and rain scary prospect.

Rooms was lovely, well appointed- spa bath great and decor super. Breakfast delicious! made fresh with quality food cumberland sausage was amazing and fabulous poached eggs. Great menu selection along with fruit, yoghurts toast and cereal. Health club fee mins drive away and facilities are very good, well maintained and we’re not too busy!

Location was perfect, the room was excellent especially the jacuzzi bath. The staff could not do enough for us especially Alexandra who booked us a taxi on New Years Eve, the service was excellent
