Whilst overall the hotel was good for location, I personally felt it was overpriced for the standard of room we received. The hotel is scruffy with lots of marks on the walls, our bedroom seemed to have odd bits of furniture in it. The chair had a cigarette burn on it, wall lights above the bed that didnt work and some random bits left in the wardrobe. There was no tea making facilities in the room which I would have expected.

The location of the hotel is excellent for a visit to Camden. It is located just round the corner to Mornington Crescent tube station. Local facilities are good, plenty of restaurants/cafes. Hotel looks great in the photos which is why we booked.

Close to Camden Town and easy to get to from Waterloo station. A little expensive but not for central London.Overall our experience of the Hurdwick was positive

Felt a little unwelcome as we had a check in style of ‘self check in’. It was quick and convenient but I would have preferred a little more interaction (welcoming).

It was quiet. The location of the hotel was convenient for the tube and had immediate access into Camden market making the stay easier on our legs. The room was clean, a few marks but that’s expected nearly everywhere I’d say. The shower and pressure was perfect.

perfectly situated next to the underground, the room excellent, clean, tidy and very comfortable. Really helpful, and communication with the hotel from booking to leaving was great. Would recommend the Hurdwick, and next time back in London will almost certainly return.

A little noisy but to be expected near a tube station. Unfortunately the room I booked had one bed, but advertised as 2 double beds!!

It was noisy at night but to be honest we expected this and location won out on this occasion.

Location could have been any better for an event at Koko. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The self check in was ideal for us, we just needed a place to crash and didn’t need help from a receptionist or concierge. The cleaner was very helpful in finding us some wine glasses to use.

The only thing that would improve this is a kettle in the room. It would have been nice. But there were facilities downstairs so not the end of the world.

No proper reception, no lobby. It was more of an appartment than hotel. Bedroom was not made: They changed towels but bed just had the covers over it.

Location is great, right by a metro station. Checkin instructions to get to the bedroom are clear and easy to follow. Bedroom did its job as I was travelling for work. Easy contact thru whatsapp for any concerns.

I don't mind not having tea/coffee in the room. But I do like to have a glass of water during the night sometimes. So a glass or plastic cups would have been great for this.

It’s a shame there aren’t tea & coffee making facilities in the room. You can go downstairs to make one but climbing up/ down 3 flights of stairs to make a morning cuppa didn’t really appeal to me!
