I arrived late to the inn as had traveled up on a Friday eve for a course Saturday, despite the pub being very busy the staff were attentive and welcoming. Lovely quiet room , all my needs for the night were met and I was informed of an early breakfast to accommodate the quests attending the early course.

    A redecoration

Landlord was very considerate and welcoming. The pub generally was a little dated but clean. The full English was superb with plenty of everything and more if required. Large garden ideal for kids. We were not disappointed. The location is not brilliant but you cannot have it all.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable

The owner was amazing, so welcoming, nothing too much trouble, went over and above what he needed to do to make our stay a good one. Room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and again, the owner went out of his way to meet our dietary requirements. Lovely to have the bar, with comfy sofas, to spend the evenings in. We were made to feel very welcome.

    • Stayed 1 night

The bedspread on the bed was faded and needed replacement. The en-suite bathroom was spacious, but needed redecoration. The car park was muddy (needs a hard surface), and hence it was difficult to keep footwear clean. Wi-fi/email was slow at time in the evening. Accommodation was on the expensive side.

Good sized clean and comfortable room. Easily accessible electrical sockets by desk for charging electrical apparatus. Breakfast was a typical good quality English breakfast, but a little more choice and variety would have been welcome. Pleasant and helpful proprietor and staff. Good service, and good value pub food for an evening meal, with fresh vegetables.

Bed ok but getting 'tired' Comfy enough. Window wouldn't open [not a show stopper] but ventilating room in am to clear damp could be an issue if damp builds up. [LH Window only]. RH was fine. Room 5. Over bath shower not the greatest but adequate.

Friendliness of host. Bar opening hours. Big TV in bar area if watching what was on. Parking easy. Room clean. Lots of local information in Accom Foyer. Good choice of 2 Real Ales. Bar was busy and locals use the Hotel bar which gives atmosphere. Friendly enough if travelling alone. Lots of hot water from cistern and in shower.

Fab place to stay, hosts were lovely people and nothing to much trouble... room very compact and cosy, had everything to make the stay nice, the little touches like toiletries, biscuits with tea/coffee making facilities to make it even more special... towels lovely big and fluffy... plenty of hot water. The inn room was compact with just about enough room to walk around the bed. The shower didn't deliver much water pressure.

The hotel is situated way off the beaten track which may suit people who like quiet peaceful areas. The room was compact but had everything that was needed. The hotel rooms were separate to the pub area which I liked and the host was great. The breakfast was very tasty.

All was fine as far as I am concerned.

The Inn at Emmington is a quiet contry pub with a traditional feel and wooden floors. The accomodation is simple, but comfortable, with en suites for all rooms. Clean, tidy, warm, freeview TV, comfy bed and good value for money with a very good full English breakfast included (vegi sausages for my wife was an especially nice touch since many 'chain' hotels are extremely poor in this respect). Our host was personable, friendly and helpful. I'd recommend The Inn at Emmington
