The location was perfect for what we needed in terms of the walk through Malham cove, Gordale Scar, Janet’s foss etc. The Lister arms was the cosiest place to stay with excellent staff and the food was amazing. They really look after dogs aswell and make sure you have everything you need. Loved every minute of staying there

The room in the barn was good but the one we had had a very small window. The wood beams became annoying, understandable they had to be there but for taller people they are a pain.

The vegetarian Sunday Lunch was probably the best we had ever had. The fact there was an effective drying room for wet gear was a great bonus..

We had a small room with a very large (but comfortable) bed, which left very little room to move about.

All breakfasts and dinners were very good.

Easter weekend equals big crowds so the parking was something of a challenge but not really the pub's fault.

Friendly and professional staff in a traditional country inn located in wonderful countryside.

We are not doggy people and there were rather a lot of dogs the weekend we were there. They are only allowed on the pub though not the dinning room.

Would have liked a smart TV with apps on which it didn't have, and I'm not fond of overhead showers as I don't always wash my hair, so that was a little awkward but both are not deal breakers to not stay again.

Really nice and friendly staff. Good location to local attractions. Breakfast and Sunday Lunch was really nice. Rooms comfortable and warm. Would definitely revisit.
