We only stayed for one night celebrating my birthday, the room was bright, modern and the view was superb. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Food was top class both dinner and breakfast. All the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful from start to finish. The hotel is situated on the lake with a launch stop to Keswick only 2 minutes walk away. I’ve already booked my next stay, that says it all

Really lovely hotel in gorgeous surroundings. Bar restaurant area had great views overlooking g the water. Dinner portions were very good! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

It is situated in a beautiful situation, with fantastic views, close to the town of Keswick, with lots of things to see and do , there are numerous places to eat and drink. Parking fees in and around Keswick are numerous and a little high, but this, I expect is to help pay for the amount of tourism that it gets. Will definitely come again.

Only issue we had was very poor wifi. This would not be an issue had there been 4G or similar but there is zero access to signal in the hotel’s location so no phone signal for calls or access to the internet. The hotel did claim they were working on it. Other than this it was a great stay and will be coming back.

The hotel is located in a lovely spot close to the lake and with lovely views of the hills. Nice and relaxing environment and the room we stayed in (part of the new rooms in the separate building) was very clean, comfortable and warm. Special mention to the brilliant shower!

We stayed in ten woodlands. Our room was fantastic. It was however very hot during the night. Perhaps a thinner duvet/sheet could be provided.

Third stay at Mary Mount. Lovely to see some great improvements i.e rooms and toilets A lovely comfortable place to stay.

In the Hotel room it would be useful to have somewhere to hang WET clothes! AND a USB point could be installed in a socket. The bedside lights were not bright enough to read by easily and there is no switch for the main light near the bed. We don't like too many cushions and it was hard to find somewhere to put them! The light from outside came in under the door at night and a green light stayed on all the time. (We know why, but we're just sharing!) A telephone would be useful for emergency use, to book a taxi or a trip, or to contact the Main Desk, as our phones often had no signal. (Fewer drawers could create more space, perhaps for another chair or coatstand? )

An excellent choice for breakfast and good choice for dinner, although I had the Indian platter more than once. The Sunday roasts were delicious! I was so pleased to find how close we were to the lake. (My husband has stayed before.) It was good to have plenty of drawers in the bedroom and a tray for muddy boots and shoes.

The location is just brilliant and allows for a perfect showcase of Cumbria/ Lake District and just within minutes drive to the town and equally for a enjoyable walk in the woods and across the lake too for a hit of adventure walk up the hill. The morning views of the local birds like Siskin, Goldfinch, Mandarin duck, spited woodpecker and make more were just perfect. The tram lead by Vladimir who is a perfect host and with his professional demeanour along with all his associates and not to miss mentioning a lovely server Megan made my daughter’s breakfast experience just great. She remembers very fondly the marshmallow loaded hot chocolate and her genuine attention to make our dining experience just great. We are returning back with loads of Frnds and family. This certainly will be our go to destination hotel in Lakes.

The hotel has undergone refurbishment and it’s both classy and comfortable. Our room in the annex was absolutely fantastic and we will be booking again. The staff are also really great - they clearly love working in the venue and it shows in the service they deliver.

Great location, room clean and bed really comfortable. Evening meal was excellent quality and good range of breakfast available -we had the full English. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Shower had no power and just gave you a light spraying and the towels could be larger but that would not stop us staying.

The views from the room were exceptional. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Food was out of this world and staff wonderful. There is an area that is dog friendly but the main restaurant is dog free. We chose to sit in the dog friendly area for breakfast. We didn't have a dog but thoroughly enjoyed petting others. They also offer a sausage for the dogs at breakfast which was adorable. Saw ducks, blue tits, Cole tits, golden finches and a sparrow hawk while in restaurant, fantastic! Love this hotel and will stay again.
