Great location. Tucked away from Main Street in Abelour the hotel overlooks the park and the River Spey. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean and the room I was in had air conditioning which was very welcome as the weather was unusually hot!

Beautiful room and best decorated bathroom ever The food at donner was excellent. Amazing starter with scallops & chorizo mow. Then delicious seafood gnocchi. we'll be back!

Bar closing at 9 on a Sunday, our day of arrival was a bit disappointing but all was fine as we could sit outside given it was a very pleasant evening fortunately but would have been a bit frustrating otherwise.

Staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic- super breakfasts to set us up for the day. Amazing whisky collection. The recent refurbishment is fantastic- so chic and tasteful. We certainly plan to be back.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff were amazing. Kelly and Kate were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, the food was fantastic and the location amazing. Every room had a distillery name. A lovely touch.

Since it is an older building, insulation and soundproofing is not a strong point between the rooms.

Lovely and picturesque place. Clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hostess and staff were just wonderful! Great whisky tasting and delicious restaurant. Wonderful hike around the area!

A bit pricy due to limited season I believe

Great location and very close many distilleries if you are planning to visit any. Also, there is a pub with a great range and also very good food. We stayed for 2 nights and also had our dinners; service was very good as well as the food.

It would be nice to see air units (heating and cooling) added to the rooms. For the price level the room was hot and stuffy in June.

The property is historically beautiful is a fantastic river side setting. The room, the food, and the service were wonderful. Be certain to ask for a spacious room (those on the upper floor are very small).

A wonderful little hotel- great locatin for disitllery visits. The room was good and had all the facilities we needed. The restuarant was incredible.

We were told at check-in and in the e-mail and on the printed menu that breakfast finishes at 10:30, but when we showed up at 9:30, were told that it finished at 9:30. They did feed us, but the staff (different staff from the previous day) was quite grumpy. Not sure what happened there; they did apologize for the confusion, but make sure you confirm breakfast times!

Would definitely stay there again. Reserved a room with a sofa bed for our 2 kids, and the staff actually set up both the sofa bed and a cot! The children were happy to have individual beds. The hotel is renovated, well-kept, and clean. The bathrooms are beautiful and newly done, but have kept a nostalgic vibe. The location is perfect, next to a park and river with endless walking paths. The location is perfect for visiting distilleries. Had one the best meals in Scotland at the hotel restaurant, but definitely make a reservation as there are not a lot of other options around, and the restaurant gets full! If the weather is nice, there's also outdoor seating. I really wish we had stayed there longer, and hope we can return. Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and energetic with a great attitude.

Facility was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful! Location is also excellent! I would recommend this to anyone thinking of going to Aberlour and would want to return again with my family!

All the obvious things like location, cleanliness, facilities and comfort were great but after 5 weeks of travel the two things that stood out for us were the wonderful thick large fluffy towels and the quality! We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere.

Excellent food in the restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. They provided safe storage for our bikes. Rooms and restaurant recently renovated, very tasteful and cosy. The room was a little small but nicely decorated.Super comfy bed & duvet.Good facilities in the room.
