Friendly staff and well located close to Paddington Station. We visited to watch some shows on the West End and the proximity meant getting back to the hotel was trivial.

Room very small, bathroom tiniest I have ever encountered. Staff could not open the safe in the room, so we could not use it. Breakfast room in the basement looked and smelled like visiting a hospital canteen.

We stayed for 2 nights (Sunday / Monday) - the price was excellent and the hotel does exactly what is says on the tin. Facilities were good and the area had enough places to eat and drink. Easy to use the tube at Paddington Station- a couple of minutes away

The location is wonderful. You have easy access to Paddington station and there are many options of great restaurants around. Cleaning is a highlight. You can have a lovely breakfast for £8.00

Unfortunately I was given a room next to the elevator, and all the comings and goings, the doors opening and closing, made a bit difficult to sleep.

The location is perfect, very close to Paddington station and near very nice restaurants and bars.

Windows in this hotel do not close and seal properly and it results in all sorts of noise coming in the room as if you had an open window basically. That makes the room cool as well. If you want to sleep in piece and quiet this place is not a good fit.

To get to the hotel we walked from central London and past Marble Arch, it was getting late and dark. Too be honest we did not like this part of London, we didn't feel too safe. Having arrived at the hotel we decided not to head back out for food. The room.. we can only describe as being very old fashioned. Old fashioned bedding, carpet, curtains etc. The bed barely had a sheet that covered the bed, then had a blanket and old fashioned cover. One of the pillows had dark objects, initially we thought they might have been bed bug type things however think perhaps dirt drops. The furniture was rather hit and miss, our room felt slightly overcrowded with chairs. However the floor mat had an orange rust looking stain. Although the shower was hot it wasn't overly powerful and the ceiling paint was badly peeling off. The towels didn't smell overly fresh but certainly not the worst.

The location for us was perfect as we needed to get an early train from Paddington Station, and that was literally a couple of minutes walking distance. Check in was splendid, the gentleman was very welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful. He informed us he had upgraded our room free of charge. The hotel was clean. Just along from the check in desk were the stairs, along with a small bar, hot drink area, fridge containing drinks you could buy and a seating area. The en suite had clearly recently been cleaned with sanitised labels present ready for our stay. The towels were hung and folded nicely. The shower cube was a nice size. The hotel provided a Goldcrest sealed soap, and two little bottles of Shampoo & Conditioner which were handy. With the drawers was a wealth of information including the hotel price list. All in all, not a bad stay but perhaps not as modern, clean lined and fresh as we had hoped for.

No coffee in the room, although this was available on reception.

Location is really great, and for the price it’s a really good deal. We had a triple room which was basement level but still had a window for fresh air, and although small it was pretty decent and was very clean. Turndown service also which for a two night stay wasn’t expected. All in all, great little hotel stay! The staff were all lovely.
