The property was fine. No problems. But the location Evesham Town centre was really run down. The shopping centre The Waterside closed down. Not what I expected so close to the Cotswolds

Had problems with the key fob to access the hotel. The receptionist could not reprogram the fob and we had to wait until the next day.

Smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor outside our room, and the bathroom and bedroom floors could have been cleaner.

Comfortable beds, spacious room, not too hot and the windows open, also has a fan in the room.

Experience was really nice, but when booking I was told that I booked breakfast, but when I got to the hotel I was told that breakfast was not included in my room so I had to pay an extra £10. Also, we were told after coming back to the hotel, but the bar shut at 9:30 and they would not service the woman behind the bar on the evening, wasn’t very happy. She was quite a miserable person and was adamant that she was not going to serve us and it was only 10:30 and as residence we did expect to at least get one drink from the bar. . Only one thing was that the fire die emergency fire door was left open all night which was a security risk and breach. There was no alarm to say that the door was open and anybody could’ve came into the hotel at any time.

There was a receptionist that was on in the daytime and she was absolutely lovely very helpful. Very friendly. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name. The deco was lovely food was good location, perfect.

Mattresses in twin room could do with being replaced, was a bit springy and not the best comfort. Also room smelt heavily like incense sticks had been lit to cover up smoke smell. Not sure whether it was a smoking room but not the best smell

Room: newly renovated; all good! Breakfast: very good; English breakfast plus buffet. Location: unfortunately a bit noisy due to traffic on road in front of the hotel.

Stayed here several times when working in the area. Good location walking distance to Evesham town centre. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are nice and polite.

A lift would have been helpful but the property has lots of character to compensate and the staff are great. 😊

The Avon flooded and the road was impassable in front of the hotel. The staff were worried about us getting back after sightseeing and called us on mobile. They gave us an extra free night as we waited for the water to recede. The car was up behind the hotel but we couldn’t safely drive out of the carpark. It was an adventure and we stayed safe and dry.

The room was very noisy in the early hours of the day, being located above the boiler room. We were told that’s why it was an economy room, yet we felt there should have been some sort of warning that sleep would be disturbed. We had a long drive ahead of us, so being fully refreshed would have been nice. Also the toilet brush holder was dripping with dried ‘brown’ streaks which made us feel a bit icky. The rest of the room however was nice and clean.

It was very convenient for staying in evesham with ample parking and the room was a great size. I will definitely stay again just as long as I can get a different room to the one I had. The staff were very helpful and reassured us when we needed to change the booking date but were hindered by a computer glitch.
