Stairs are challenging with large bags but we did it!

Comfy bedroom with terrific view over the harbour. Plentiful tea, coffee and biscuits in the room - fantastic. Great breakfast.

The property was tired In places, loads of stairs and corridors.

Parking £10 in carpark opposite and stairs in hotel could be awkward especially with bags. I only mention the stairs for anyone who has problems in that area because to be fair there is not a lot the hotel can do about it as it is a very old building.

It's location right on the harbour and close to everything Easy to get ferry over to the rock for a coastal walk. Enjoyed our stay

It’s looking a bit tired in places. Flaky paint and ceilings. Room was dusty on top of wardrobe- not being funny but it was think and looked like it was snowing when I put my bag on top. Black mould in shower, etc. it enough to detract from the stay but worth noting. Premium “Padstow” priced property and prob not a 4 star.

We paid for a room with a view and think we got the best one in the hotel. Straight into the harbour, stunning. Huge room with a very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with premium ingredient’s. All staff very nice .

The car park right in front of the hotel was really handy. The building is very old and so very charming. Staff very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent.

Room was perfect. Very spacious and comfy. Amy on the reception was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was very good with friendly staff. I was served by a man named Jesus and a lady whose name I unfortunately can't remember, but both were very good.

It was everything we hoped for so to answer the question - nothing.

Perfect location for a visit to Padstow with great harbour view. Parking is in a public car park opposite that was extremely busy even on a Thursday in September. Superb breakfast.

The rooms are extremely small for the price and one was very hot even though the outside temp was cool. The bar staff need more training - our cocktails were poorly made, missing ingredients and expensive.

Location was great as were FOH staff. The beds were comfortable. Nice towels.

The dual aspect view of the harbour and the fishing docks was great for people watching, and beautiful in the morning with a cup of excellent coffee provided in the room. Staff were really friendly and always very helpful.

I can’t say there was anything we didn’t really like. Only that our room was a bit of a hike , but I know now to request a room closer to the front of the building. Also maybe a better selection of fruit for breakfast. Other than that everything was absolutely fantastic and we would stay again in the future. We look forward to seeing you after the refurbishment.

We loved the location, convenient access from the car park. We loved how clean the whole place was kept, the cleaners always asked us if we needed anything if we were still in our room. All the staff were so friendly and the cooked breakfast was fantastic. I wish we lived closer so we could come again more frequently! We didn’t want to leave!

Lack of parking and the showroom/toilet was looking tired.

Its location and how picturesque it was. My room was a lovely size and felt homely.
