Could hear music/tv from the neighbouring rooms or possibly from the restaurant, not too much bother though as it was quiet

Gorgeous property, room was extremely spacious with a huge, comfortable bed. It was decorated to a high standard with good quality furnishings and lovely finishing touches. Breakfast was excellent, and we had our evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious too. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.

Nothing, it was hands down the best nights stay we've ever had!

We loved everything about The Old Mill Inn! The bedrooms were so clean, spacious, cosy, and modern. The beds were so unbelievably comfortable! The staff were so welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make you comfortable. The food was exceptional! Would highly recommend it to anyone, we'll definitely be going back!

The room was really spacious and impeccably clean. It was stocked with everything that you needed and the TV has plenty of channels to keep you entertained. There is a real warmth to this venue and the staff could not do enough to make you feel welcome and relaxed. The food in the restaurant was superb. We’ll definitely be back later this year.

The only real downside to this place is the location as there is not a whole lot to do without driving out. But if like us you are coming dedicated to a walk and some where to crash this is perfect

The model is the rooms and restaurant are run separately which we didn’t know when we booked and we found this out later on during our stay, so there is no-one on site overnight or when the pub is closed after breakfast and after lunch up to the evening. This seemed a bit impersonal to us and seemed a bit disjointed. I had to work one morning and my hubby sat in the cold bar but did manage to order a coffee - it would be nice to have the option to have a welcome, warm space available but perhaps this was our misunderstanding of the way it’s run. There was no chest of drawers in the rooms so we had to keep suitcases out for stuff that would go in drawers which was inconvenient, or desk/dressing table or comfy chair which would have been nice. A couple more options for breakfast would be nice, maybe yoghurt & fruit. The staff had obviously been taught to take breakfast orders in a certain way which meant quite a lengthy wait for guests who arrived later when the rooms were busy.

Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything, the staff were pleasant, professional and welcoming, the room was clean well appointed and spacious. The food was second to non. Self checkin worked a treat was so nice not to worry about having key cards etc.

EVERYTHING!! Everything was perfect, the bed was incredible, and the room was out of this world clean. The staff were so kind and friendly!! Every bit of food was perfect, dinner was spot on, and we were vegetarians. Breakfast was perfect, and nothing was too much trouble. I have never stayed somewhere before that I could not find at least one fault with the Old Mill Inn was perfect! Even the coffee in the room was perfect. The only words I can use for this place are perfect, perfect, and perfect! We will be visiting again for sure!!

Fabulous Inn. Excellent room with the largest and most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Staff were lovely, amazing, helpful, friendly which created a care free atmosphere. Food was outstanding! Everywhere was immaculate. A very well designed, furnished and decorated Inn. Well done team Mill Inn.

Property was gorgeous. We got the king deluxe room. The bed was super comfy, the room was spotless. The bathroom was so clean it looked brand new and unused. Good selection of tea and coffee. There is a small wardrobe with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. the restaurant was lovely. food is exceptional with very large portions. All good is cooked fresh. the staff are really helpful and kind also. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Also the car park to the side is safe. we brought the car instead of the motorbike as we weren’t sure how safe the bike would be left unattended however we will bring the bike next time.

N/A. Do need a car to access wider areas but very close to the western/northern lakes and lots of beautiful walks/areas.

Exceptionally clean, modern and spacious. The stay was very reasonable and good value for money, including breakfast both mornings. The staff both prior and during stay were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant/bar is buzzing but relaxed. Both the room and food were excellent and we would return! A lot of care and attention has gone into renovating the property. Very much to our taste and very comfortable. Thank you!

The hotel was beautifully designed, very modern, with a cosy feel. We've stayed in a lot of hotels and that was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in. The staff were all very friendly. The food was delicious. Good value for money. We'll definitely rebook!
