Hotel was old, beds uncomfortable, lack of any real shower and zero toiletries available in room (No shower gel, soap, shampoo so on). No iron.

Staff were very friendly. I booked late and arrived late, the porter went out of his way to help me and park in secure area, directed me to restaurants locally that were still open.

Due to the huge room it was extremely uncomfortable trying to watch a very small television On arrival we walked the lodge in its entirety about to try and find someone, at the side of the property we gained access through a set of double doors and walked straight through the building with out any body noticing, we used a land line telephone to call reception then was informed we had to walk another 400 metres to book in. My point is, after a 14hr day, I am yet to find anyone that would enjoy the faff of trying to gain access to a shower and a clean bed at this place

We travel for work a lot, always nice to have a shower with a decent amount of water pressure. It would appear totally out of coincidence, our room was positioned directly in front of our van, slim pickings associated with our "likes" of the place

The single beds were narrowed so much so that turning over causes you to almost rescue yourself from falling out..

Location was good plenty of places to eat.. supermarket just minutes away..

It would be nice to have someone on site all the time, not just overnight, there was an assistance alarm going off for a while and someone had to go to sports centre for someone to come and turn it off. Our room was on the first floor at the end of the building but it was so hot on a warm day (not hotels fault I know) but it was very difficult to cool the room down as no air conditioning and couldn't open the window enough because of the safety features. Made sleep very difficult. Our wet room was ok but some of the water from the shower would pool around the toilet. Hours later you'd get wet feet going to the loo...seemed to be a problem with flooring level.

Close to facilities for a sports tournament, large enough rooms all designed to be accessible. Generous size beds and wet room

The lodge favours workers e.g. builders who obviously use the lodge as a base when working in the local area. The problem with this is they are extremely noisy, up and down at all hours of the night and had a habit of standing right outside the windows in the car park smoking, drinking and being very loud. Also yelling up at each others rooms early morning to remind them they are late for work! I actually heard a member of staff outside my door telling the guy opposite me ‘not to worry about it because you are all good customers’ after I complained. I tried to explain, several times, that many of the guests, myself included, stay there because they have very sick loved ones in the same site hospital and are often exhausted. I stayed for 5 weeks in total, paid close to £3000 and barely slept the entire time. I ended up checking out 3 nights early because I couldn’t cope with the noise any longer.

The room was basic with en suite bathroom which was ok.

What I didn't like was the cleanliness, the windows didn't close well and there were cobwebs inside the rooms. the tv in one of the rooms did not work the beds were all single when I had 2 double rooms and a twin room. The price was too much for these conditions. very disappointed.

Clean spacious room, comfortable bed, easy to use shower…food…snacks..available close by. The receptionist, Sharon, was very helpful and cheerful.

The temperature was 32 degrees hot and there was neither fan nor air-conditioning in any of the rooms. Also the TV didn't work.

The fact that the bathrooms look like they need a good clean, but this has not changed as I have stayed in the Lodge on many occasions/

The fact that I was attending an event at the stadium and I could walk to that.
