Its a shame that hot breakfast and coffees like latte etc are not included as I think its cheeky to charge more. The rooms was also very small and very stuffy and hot

It wasn't easy to know where to park our car when we arrived, for the valet parking although the staff were incredibly accommodating about this. We came with a child and found that although it was welcome news that she could come to the pool with us, the timings were very narrow and pretty restrictive for children, especially considering nap timings etc.

Staff were very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The view from the room over the beach was fantastic. The fact that the spa was complimentary with the stay was a lovely surprise and the facilities were well maintained, clean and not too busy. Breakfast was comprehensive and offered plenty of variety. The beach can be accessed by walking down a path directly from the hotel terrace, which made it very easy to explore. The town itself is lovely, full of art galleries and beautiful shops. We would definitely come here again.

Difficult to access sockets (behind bedside table) for recharging my phone. A socket by the desk would be helpful.

Television didn’t work properly although staff did their best. Too many cushions on the bed - just annoying. Bin men coming at 6.30 am outside bedroom window.

Breakfasts was very good an excellent variety of plants. Gin in bedroom a nice touch. Good view in dining room. Lovely staff.

The food was terrible, we ate at the hotel first night. The breakfast options were very limited and even though it says breakfast included (continental breakfast only) you still have to pay for hot dishes. For the cost of the hotel they could do much better. Service not great at all.

Our room was perfectly sized, great location to beaches and town centre. Indoor heated pool was great.

parking was an issue and an extra charge, the bed mattress in our room was sagging and could do with a new one. The description of breakfast was misleading. Only continental breakfast was inclusive. Cooked meals were an extra charge.

Spa was great but didn’t feel super super clean and tidy

Amazing breakfast spread and your choice of hot food, you also have sea views while eating. The bed was massive and so so comfy. The location is right on the beach and there’s a bus stop if you’re not good with hills/ walking too far.

The breakfast .. there was plenty of continental choice and toast but the hot food let it down extremely dry bacon and sausage .. cooked and microwaved I think .. inedible .. and eggs were tasteless yolks very pale so probably cheap generic eggs .. however this would not put me off going back as everything else was superb ..

Room was absolutely lovely a fantastic view of the sea comfortable beds spacious bathroom .. great spa and pool location perfect ..

The bedroom had insufficient drawers/space for clothes for our 4 night stay in winter-the space is there but badly planned eg 1 short hanging wardrobe which is too short due to a shelf at the base (I am 5ft1ins and my dresses crumpled at the hem. The 2nd half of the wardrobe has a fridge, coffee maker & safe in it. No drawers in the room deep enough for eg socks, underwear - the desk & bedside tables had 1 drawer each less than 1.5ins deep. There were 2 wide empty spaces in the room where a set of drawers & somewhere to hang our winter coats would have easily fit Cooked breakfast was not good - seemed pre cooked & reheated. Cooked breakfast very slow to come - kitchen service clearly an issue 3 days running - needs improving.

Unfortunately our fresh bedding had multiple dark hairs in it!…& a soiled pillowcase. Housekeeping was very good but did lack hugely on the hard floor surfaces. Tasty food & very accommodating to needs but evening meal & breakfast weren’t overly hot.
