Absolutely nothing at all. It was wonderful.

I loved absolutely everything at the Queens Arms, from the staff who welcomed us on arrival, to the friendly farewell. We will most definitely be back. The food was lovely, the best mushroom soup I have ever had. The room was beautiful. We actually stayed in two rooms. We had to extend our stay suddenly so had to move rooms. Both were beautifully decorated, the little touches like the books, the fresh milk outside the room when we woke up, the fudge, big towels. The whole place was so relaxed and friendly, nothing was too much trouble but at no point was it intrusive. Breakfast was yummy. An absolute gem of a place to stay.

However shower head was the large unmovable overhead type. Evening Food Menu a tad restricted if you stayed there more than a couple of nights. Food quite pricey. Particularly the desserts. The pastry on my egg custard tart was like cardboard! Generally Food good.

It is hard to find fault as it was such a nice atmosphere and the staff were really helpful and welcoming. The menu didn't have much option for vegetarians and maybe this would be something to consider.

We had the complementary continental breakfast. It was nicely presented with thoughtful options. The service was relaxed and helpful. Likewise the evening meal was enjoyable and the atmosphere relaxed. The location was outstandingly beautiful and both rooms and restaurant were very stylishly presented.

The room itself was not particularly comfortable with nowhere easy to sit on to work etc. To watch TV you have to get into bed. It was also not very soundproofed, with a lot of noise from other rooms above and guests entering and exiting the communal hallway

The staff were all really lovely, it is super dog friendly and the meal/service in the restaurant was excellent

We decided to not go for the burns Night special menu so we sat in a separate Dining room which was perfect as we were able to chat and catch up with friends ....the only downside was that the service was a little slow and we decided to go to bed before pudding was offered. We do of course understand that the main focus had to be on the Burns Night guests and had we been there on a normal day we are sure all would have been perfect.

The place is well decorated and in lovely countryside . The staff are very friendly and welcoming . The beds are very comfortable and the shower was very good too.

The front door was quite difficult to get out of with suitcases. One staff member helped us open the door but then walked off. We managed to get out, but struggled.

The room was beautifully decorated and warm. Very quiet location. A table was automatically booked for us for dinner. I was not sure when I booked whether it was going to be standard pub food. Our meal was superb. I would definitely stay there and eat there again. The staff were spot on. All the staff were extremely courteous and smiled.

Needs more storage in room and bathroom. Nowhere to hang clothes plus no shelves in bathroom - a little annoying for such a simple problem to remedy.

The steep stair case leading to the rooms, although the staff were very helpful in carrying cases etc up to the room.

Breakfast, Simple Continental included, cooked food at extra cost. Suited me just fine, although the terms only offered "one cup of coffee" within the included price, which seems a bit mean, takes the shine off it!

There was no shower gel provided. The staff though quite professional seemed aloof and cold, and it would have made our evening more enjoyable if they were a bit more friendly.

The view was stunning, and the food was exceptional. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable, and we were impressed by how clean and well maintained the place was.
