The place smells bad and my bed was a bit uncomfortable. No facilities where I could use my laptop.

Good price and location, the volunteers are really nice and friendly and so is Gerusa, the manager.

I would say that the property could do with upgrading to key cards for entering the building…just from a security/convenient aspect, as you have to take a pic of the code which can be shared so it based on trust value. No lockers to store your belongings as this would be beneficial…but be mindful and manage your expectations as it is an old pub which could do with a few modifications and better layout.

A quirky respectable hostel which use to be a pub but relaxing and comfortable in a quiet neighbourhood offering basic facilities. There’s a grocery shop next door if you want to cook you own food as the property has a kitchen otherwise nearby are cafes and restaurants along with transportation which is a 10min walk away. The reception and staff were very friendly and helpful showing you around, providing any information you needed. Clean and tidy bedding with ease of access to bathroom facilities just be mindful of the steps at night and banging your head.

I liked the social chatter in the kitchen and my room. Christmas was very nice and the food offered free of charge was good, apart of the fact that I am vegan, so I could not enjoy their food as much as others did.

I kept my food in the fridge which was not clean regularly. They had cat and allow it to walk on the dining table while people were eating. The sinks were not cleaned regularly, also showers. The dining tables was not cleaned regularly and not big enough to accommodate all people at some times. In addition to service they provided ones a day hand towel at the sinks. Many people staying longer period cooked and left the sponges for cleaning dishes very dirty in the kitchen. Bed had no curtains and private light. Lacking hygiene. The pillow was not comfortable. Rooms were warm. Staff pleasant.

But during the past two days, there was a Mongolian woman and a South American man in the room I was in. They woke me up several times in the middle of the night and chatted loudly because I snored loudly. As a shared room hotel, they should have been prepared for this kind of problem before checking in. They didn't even prepare a pair of ear plugs (worth a euro at most) and blamed their mistake on others. Very disappointed that my trip and good impression of this hotel were ruined by these two people. (There are a total of 5 people living in the room I am in, and the other 2 tenants are safe and sound)

I traveled to London for New Year's Eve and stayed in this hotel for two days. The facilities were very complete and the accommodation conditions were very good.

The ceiling of the shower room is lots of mildew.

The "rooms" are basically 185 cm partition walls in hall of upper floor of a former pub. You're basically sharing space with 30 other people. Some people have been staying there for 4 years.

The landlord/manager seems to be a very friendly lady and I has a family-run feel to it. It's clean and located very close to tube stations and Westfield Mall.

The room was a little bit cramped, but manageable, as the other guests were very mutually accommodating.

Have to walk for about 10 min.from the metro, with heavy stuff , not easy to find where that hostel is,long walking around the houses,till somebody shows the way.

It does not seem to be a hostel for short comers it seem to be at least month long of living in the hostel so everyone was too close with each other which was good and bad at the same time
