Great location with easy access to town centre and promenade. Hotel was clean, comfortable and all staff members were really friendly and welcoming. We were given a free upgrade on our room which we were very grateful of, thank you!

The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the Endeavour suite we stayed in was fantastic. The staff members were polite and friendly. There was a good selection for breakfast, and the food was lovely and fresh.

we cannot find fault with anything in the control of the hoteI and we even manged to find parking nearby.

We have stayed there previously in 2021 and had a very good stay. We were surprised when we arrived that the hotel had been subject to a further refurbishment and that the bar and restaurant had been moved downstairs. The changes were well done and made the whole hotel experience even better. The staff as previously, were very friendly and helpful on all occasions. The food quality was excellent and we will always attend there when visiting Whitby.

There was only a couple of things that needed updating in the room like screws missing on the skirting board in the bathroom & a but mould in the shower cubicle.

The staff were very polite & well mannered, service with a smile is nice to see.

What I would say is the food was excellent but you may struggle if you don't like seafood. Not a problem for me and like I saaid the food was excellent.

Fabulous breakfast with options to suit all tastes. Full English was perfect for me. The room was very good, clean and well presented. Location is 5 minutes from the sea front and centrally located to most attraction.

In the standard room the bed was only a 4'6" , and whilst OK for one night I would want a bigger room and bed if staying longer. Parking not the most ideal and in the height of the season would probably cause a severe problem

Very nice hotel for one night. Excellent location for town centre. The refurbishment when finished will be very nice indeed. Very nice restaurant for breakfast. The staff very delightful and nothing was too much trouble to sort. The room was nicely furnished and the showroom was very good.

Had a slight issue with heating the room. Electric heater seemed to take hours to warm up the room. Got there in the end though. But that wouldn’t put me off staying there again 😊

There was no late checkout option that is my only criticism on the stay. I’d suggest making check in time later in the afternoon/evening and allowing a later checkout time on these premium rooms.

Very smart room, comfortable seats and bed, everything you could want in a hotel room is provided, the fish tank was a nice premium touch and not too distracting when trying to sleep. Staff very pleasant and helpful too.

The mattress it was very soft and sank right in and to one side if you didnt move it was comfy had to sort of stop myself from falling out of bed

Barrels at local bars being changed at 6am each morning but otherwise had a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend

Breakfast. People were herded to sit together, despite 80% empty dining room making talk impossible without being completely overheard because the tables are so close together.
