Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomTowels supplied were very well used and thin (we didn’t use them) and the shower was a bit temperamental took ages to give hot water but was fine once heated up.
Room was small, but was clean and tidy. Bathroom was tidy and clean. Was basic and simple. But the fact it was clean was a bonus and staff was friendly

Personally I found the Riveria terrific value for money and in a great location. The room I was in was quiet ,warm, hot shower and a comfy bed ,what more could you want . The staff are very helpful and also let me keep my key till midday so could go for a walk on beach . Thank you very much and will be back Dave

United KingdomThe manager was very rude. We paid the hotel £20 for parking and still got a fine. After complaining about this to the manager he gave us £40 towards a £60 fine. Meaning we would have paid £40 in total for two nights parking . After giving us the full £60 for the fine he suddenly became aggressive. Such a shame to have a bad experience with staff after what was a good stay.
Can fault the room, for the price (£25 a night ) it exceeded our expectations. Showers were hot rooms where comfortable

United KingdomThe room wasn't the cleanest, it wasn't awful but there were things like dust in the cups and the shower. We weren't able to get in initally as the numbers on the door weren't answered when we rang but there's also two doorbells so we were able to get in after about 5 minutes. The room was very small BUT it does state "small double" and for one night it was ideal for what we needed.
Great location, it was close to everything and central. For the price there was no real issues, given the number of bad reviews it was better than expected.
