The stairs were a little horrid. Very scary judging stairs with heels and luggage. The rooms are tired and could do with the mould on the windows being sorted.

Loved the venue but the rooms were a little tired. Loved the food it was gorgeous. Loved the staff they were fantastic very good team not much seating for guests in the evening

The food in the bar was fairly average, so although we ate in one of the two evenings, we did not want to use the restaurant facility again.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice! The grounds are lovely and the setting excellent. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

Lack of mobile phone signal…apparently loss of signal after a mill was taken down as mentioned by staff! Wi-Fi was terrible also using the cloud. If you want comms…Get signals out of the area in populated surroundings cause you won’t get a signal here.

An old building with a church attached to the building (not accessible to guests, but lite up and night and lovely lighting), in a scenic location made it an amazing stay. Staff were really friendly and went above and beyond the normal expectations. Hearty breakfast and really filling, lots of selection for breakfast and other meals. Rooms were nice and warm and normal facilities available.

No EV car charger sadly which means I may not be able to use this hotel much when travelling for business. WiFI & phone signal was dreadful therefore unable to work while there.

Room was exceptional with four poster bed which I had requested if available and was very comfortable. Breakfast and Evening meal were very good with nice choices available.

Lack of toiletries in bathroom, insufficient tea, coffee, milk, snacks. No receptionist, despite trying to ring for attention on checkout.

Shower was VERY hot and not enjoyable.

Staff were very helpful. Manager ordered a taxi to Miller and Carter restaurant for us. Partners breakfast was luke warm, mentioned it to restaurant staff who immediately took it away and a fresh plate was cooked. Good selection on offer for £12. Deluxe bedroom was spotless and very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities good.

A little concerned with security. Room was on the ground floor and we like to have an open window at night. There was a wire to stop it opening further than about 4 inches which is a great idea, however anyone could walk in from the exit entrance and cut that wire enabling access to the room at night through the window. Possibly replace the downstairs windows with something more secure?

The property is in a fabulous location, surrounded by countryside but at the same time fairly close to all amenities

Wifi (the imfamous Cloud) absolutely terrible in my room. Dinner options brought out very quickly, and variable in quality. Would go back, just about.

Building excellent, staff very good and helped me from one visit to the next by holding onto lost property for me, breakfast acceptable.
