breakfast included was a "Continental" breakfast (which was very nice) but would have probably booked elsewhere had i known that - not clear at the time of booking that breakfast was only a "continental".

reasonable combination of price vs location. Friendly staff.

The bed when we came in had some things on covers not sure if it was just fluff or something but it was odd and had some issues with the bathroom sinks plug hole and service as we were a lower room.

The bed was really comfortable, the little window seat in our room was great for sitting to read or relax. The views were pretty and the location was great for what we needed with easy access to stores and places to eat but also for the venue we were going to.

Staff would leave the hotel at around 5 p.m. and would only return in the morning. We did have an emergency contact but we didn't feel very safe with no one around during the night. Our room was next to the stairs on the floor level, and we heard a lot of noise from people moving around the hotel. Although the staff was nice, most of them were clearly inexperienced and often forgot to bring us something we asked for, especially during breakfast. The breakfast itself was a disappointment, with very little options and not great quality (didn't even have hot drinks machine).

The location was good, with easy access to public transport. The staff was kind and tried to do the best they could.

There were a couple of issues in the room which a staff member later told me would have been easily fixable, but since they have reduced working hours, I could often not ask about it. Also please note that rooms are on two floors but there is no elevator. The staff did offer to help with my suitcase, but I managed to get it up myself.

I chose this hotel because it was a four minute walk from the location I needed to be at for work. The staff was very helpful and friendly, though they had very reduced working hours. I ordered some stuff from England to the hotel's address and they put it in my room when I arrived, which was very kind. The room had all usual elements and an OK internet connection. The rooms were cleaned every day. I had read some negative replies about the place being dirty or noisy, but it was fine. The place does indeed have a restaurant in the basement - which is also used as the breakfast room in the morning - but I never noticed that when I returned in the evenings. Breakfast was average. I'd go to Salisbury's Boutique again.

The room was too hot. Unfortunately we couldn't turn the radiator down at all and the window wouldn't open so the heating was on all night, for some this might be fine but people who live in a cold house and a women of a certain age the heat was unbearable. Good job we were out and about and not wanting to sit in the room.

The breakfast and eating area. It was of a poor quality and wasn’t a cooked breakfast.

Room was nice and large and clean, but the facilities were not what we were expecting or advertised. The place was very cleverly advertised, but I feel misleading. It was just not for us.

Room was small and the toilet is a bit weird if you stay 2 people. There is just a sliding door but anything from inside can be heard from the room. The location was a bit far away from the city by foot, but could be easily reached by bus.

The view from the room was perfect. It was seeing the mountains. Breakfast was alright and especially croissants were really tasty. The room was very clean and it gives that 19th centrury vibe with the architecture.

Its not a dislike, but areas to mention were that the towel radiator in the bathroom didn't actually work, and the door handle in the bathroom also appeared to have better days, but these are minuscule in the grand scheme of things.

It was a super comfortable room, very warm and well thought out. The staff were friendly and we had an upgrade for free. Although we didn't have breakfast or dinner in the hotel, the menu was well thought out and catered for everyone.
