For us nothing we had a great time.But you need to have someone about to hand your key to when leaving.

The staff where very helpful. The room was lovely and clean and had all the you needed. Excellent shoBreakfast and evening Meal was delicious. Location was ideal and a lovely little village.

Our friends' room (Room 6) was OK - they were happy with the twin beds, as requested, and knew it wouldn't have a view - but it was surprisingly small compared to ours. It seemed strange that ours (Room 3, which is enormous, with a river view)) was only £15 more. This is not exactly a criticism, though, as our room was probably worth more than we paid.

Great service from all the staff, lovely food, amazing location. Our room (Room 3) was great value; huge as well as beautiful, and of course the view is wonderful.

We stayed in room 4, which we think was above the rear of the bar area, as a result here was a lot of noise (banging about) which could be heard through the floor until later in the evening, which stopped us getting decent rest after a long day. We when arrived at reception it took some time for the staff to 'acknowledge' us and instead we were ignored for a while. Appreciate people get busy, but it doesn't take 2 seconds to acknowledge your new customers and say that you'll be right with them.

location is right on the river and very picturesque. Breakfast was done really well. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Food in the evening was good and there is a nice outdoor terrace.

This place is fantastic. Location is great for walking along the Wye and getting to many attractions nearby. The staff really go the extra mile to make your stay special. It felt like a home from home. The room we stayed in with river views was very comfortable, clean and modern. The food is very good at the restaurant and breakfast, if a little overpriced. As a vegetarian the menu was a bit limited but still adequate. No vegetarian English breakfast for example. Great range of local ales at the bar. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful room (11) and the pub itself is so cosy with wonderful views. The breakfasts and meals are outstanding. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, it’s a really lovely place. Highly recommended.

The floor was a bit squeaky, so we were worried that our late arrival to the hotel would wake the other guests up

not a complaint, but we booked a little out of season- in summer this would be an exceptional location

issue with Booking.com who sold the room we were meant to have due to a "glitch" but the hotel rang -explained and apologised and dealt with the matter very well. we got downgraded, but even so the room was exceptional
