Very warm welcome on arrival. Owners were very generous and welcoming. The room was immaculately clean and tidy. The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever laid on and breakfast was superb. Our room was relaxing, spacious with a gorgeous sea view. We also had dinner in the pub downstairs and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to go back!

Needed a plug near dressing table. Also needs a small coffee table in sitting room. Just constructive criticism.

People who owned it were very nice. Lovely bed and shower. Lovely breakfast. The bonus was having a sitting room as well as en suite bedroom.

We requested Plant Based breakfast. Wendy and Stuart went out of their way to accommodate us. We therefore had an excellent breakfast. The room had a fabulous view, right by the shore. looking towards Dungeness. The linen was crisp cotton.

Not really a dislike, it just felt a little odd going into a pub to check in when the suite was next door. This location was actually much better, though.

breakfast was all you could wish for , whatever your taste and really set you up for theday. Room was outstanding. View well its right on the beach ! so relaxing to just sit and watch the waves . It confirmed my view that the sea is never the same 2 days running.

Parking can be tricky.

Let's clear up a misunderstanding : we're not rating the Ship Inn, fine establishment though it may be. We stayed at Parade Cottage, adjacent to the Ship. Though at present under common ownership, these two enterprises are independent. The Cottage is an ideal place for a classic British seaside holiday, designed and run with the guest's satisfaction at heart. We recommend it without reservation.

The room overlooked the sea and was spacious and comfortable,with a small but good bathroom. We were able to park directly outside, which was helpful. The “staff”, Wendy and Stewart, were also very helpful and provided us with an excellent breakfast.
