The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Richard is a friendly host, and attentive to the little details, like leaving a KitKat in the room and providing clear written instructions and helpful notes about Bodmin. There is also a collection of books about Cornwall in the shelf. For convenience, there’s a washing machine and dryer available for a fee.

Lots of attention to detail, unbelievably so and a very warm welcome. Late check-in available. Large comfy bed for just me. Very central for getting to everywhere in Cornwall and in/out of the county. Loved it. Separate bathroom, but I knew this, the price very fairly reflected this and importantly it was nice and super clean.

I was in the uk for 5 nights and this by far the best place I stayed + the host was the most friendly person ever, I didn't even have to get my charging cables out because on each side of the bed there was an android + iPhone cable amazing + there was a kit kat in the mug + a lucky penny fantastic place 😃

First impression as we walked in was of just how clean the house was. It smelt lovely and the interior was very nice and welcoming. The attention to detail and little quirky extras from the host were a lovely touch. The Bed was extremely comfortable and very peaceful to in the property. The duvet and duck down pillows gave a fantastic nights sleep.

Very well kept with generous refreshments provided. Host ( and Pumpkin the cat ) were very welcoming and accommodating and very much enjoyed my stay there. Was introduced to a new board game I'd not heard of!

This isn’t a criticism of BodminRest4u, but if I were travelling for work, I would opt for a lodge with a larger room and a higher price point.

Friendly, helpful host. I had the choice between spending over £100 on a room at a big-chain hotel or £50 at BodminRest4u after a 24-hour motorcycle event. All I really needed was a good night’s sleep—and that’s exactly what I got. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Richard and Pumpkin were great and made me feel very welcome and at home as soon as I arrived. Richard was very informative, entertaining and helpful with plenty of good banter to keep everything on a very informal footing from the off. Really enjoyed my stay.

No TV in the room

The room was Well appointed, comfy bed, lots of extras, chocolate, sweet, biscuits, excellent tea tray and little fridge with cold water and squash. Lovely big wardrobe for hanging things up. The host was very kind and generous although a little eccentric and very, very chatty.
