How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Carpets a bit ‘tired’ and bed and pillows really very hard and uncomfortable. Also, not a large double bed really. Pretty standard size.
Breakfast was very good and ideal location for ABBA Voyage

Shower is working fine but I guess the shower head needs cleaning or replacing as the water just trickles down. As mentioned the room is very tiny
Room is nice but very small and compact. The standard facilities are available. Breakfast is of a standard one. Service is good. On the whole i would recommend it

Facilities in room controlled via the smart TV, including the internet and lights which was a draw back.
Didn’t have breakfast. Had pizza in the restaurant on arrival. Service and staff pleasant and helpful.

There wasn't much to do in the area though we did find a lovely Moroccan restaurant within walking distance of hotel. While we had a lovely large balcony, the size of the room was very small. Nowhere to hang clothes & there wasn't much room on one side of the bed as there was a long table and chair there.
Location was perfect for ABBA Voyage. It only took 15 minutes to walk. Hotel was also close to Stratford tube station. Fabulous balcony with views overlooking Canary Wharf & we could also see the illuminating Greenwich time line. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices & offered vegetarian & gluten free food too. Staff were friendly & helpful. Room cleaned daily with water bottles, tea, coffee etc & shower water temperature was good. Fridge & safe along with dressing gowns was welcomed.

I think the price is high for the area compared to other nearby hotels , also the beds although comfortable are a little low for a guest with disabilities

The room was quite small and too warm . It had a door out to a roof top balcony but you couldn’t leave the door open at night for fresh air/to cool the room as it wouldn’t have been safe.
Friendly staff, clean, good choice of breakfast - handy for ABBA Voyage and Westfield Shopping Centre - the transport links were good

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was brilliantly located just 10 minutes walk from the station, Olympic Park and Abba arena. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast also good with lots of options. The weather was amazing so we sat and had drinks in the courtyard after a busy day on Saturday.

There's a little traffic noise in some of the rooms, but it's not a significant issue.
The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the rail station, rooms are comfortable, clean, and reasonably quiet. Breakfast is very good for the price. Would happily stay there again.

The twin beds were very close together. The hotel description mentioned a gym as did a sign by the lift, so disappointed to discover no gym.
The location to the aquatic centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A leaky pipe saw us have to move rooms but it was done very efficiently.

For those who need to work remotely, the room would be perfect with an additional 3-4 inches between the bed and the desk or if the desk moved to the opposite side of the room. (Maybe I had a smaller room.) At least one plant based meal on the menu would have been more inclusive and saved me from having to order something online or going out to a restaurant.
Spotless hotel in a convenient location! Good value for money. All of the staff are professional, warm, and a pleasure to interact with. Hold onto your staff!

Couldn’t get the room temp setting low so was too hot. Pillows were rock hard!
Staff were fabulous - especially the manager who couldn’t do enough for us. Location to ABBA arena was excellent and 5 min walk to Westfield shopping. Very clean and great toiletries.

We were given an upstairs room it was very hot up there , shower was a bit small . Apart from that it was fine
