I always stay in the bridal suite due to the bath it is gorgeous, the room is really nice , the breakfast was really good. So happy to stay here would highly recommend.

Our room was a bit noisy, its an old building so thats a bit expected and the heating was going on and off which rattles in the wall....... if i was being super picky i'd say the cold breakfast selection isn't great, but not a deal breaker

The mattress was a little too hard, I hate soft beds, but these are really firm and could do with perhaps a memory foam topper on them. Otherwise everything was perfect!!

I would have liked maybe a shelf or storage in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly. The room was immaculate and four poster bed was so comfy, I have never slept so well while staying away from home.

The room was exactly as we expected, cleaned daily and fully equipped. the only observation we would make would be to make a suggestion that a grab rail be installed on the side wall of the shower - as one inevitably gets older, the wet-room concept can be a little hazardous for those of us who are 'getting on a bit!!' Just a suggestion.

stayed for three nights....all breakfasts exactly as we requested, served with efficiency and cheerfulness. Two nights evening meals taken in the bar area, third night in the restaurant, all excellent with good service throughout.

We didn't like the music in the restaurant. It was a bit too loud and too modern, but we always think that. Something calm and classical would have seemed more appropriate, and there's plenty of 16th/17th century music. Other people probably thought it was fine!

A 500 year-old timber-frame house converted to a hotel without losing any of its character; it's wonderful. All the facilities, the restaurant, the staff, etc were all excellent. A really enjoyable stay.

The tray that held the tea and coffee supplies was missing saucers and a spoon. The cups had obviously been placed upside down on a wet tray and were stuck to the tray; a bit worrying. We asked for the tray to be restocked. Despite being told that would happen, it didn't

Staff were helpful, engaging and worked well as a team. We had a suite which was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The lack of sound proofing in the rooms. Was woken at 6.30 by the guest above walking backwards and forwards whilst wearing shoes which was incredibly load and then couldn’t get back to sleep.

The staff, food and building are fantastic. This my favourite place to stay when I am away working.

Our room (10) had a knocking all night, in the ceiling, hubby said it was like the pipes expanding, I am not sure if it kept waking me up but each time I did wake up I heard it (and I woke up a lot) which is a shame as everything else was pretty much perfect.

The whole building was beautiful, the food was amazing, and our room was so pretty.

Whilst I'd forgotten to bring a three pin USB charger, there wasn't any USB sockets in the room. Hey ho not the end of the world though, just a small inconvenience.
