Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a good location.

The rooms, the bed, the bath, the food…we only stayed one night but we had a delightful stay. The bed was so comfy we slept through our alarms. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were absolutely delicious.

Unfortunately the room we were in was noisy at night 1st night we were tired from a 2 hour journey and although heard the noise we slept but the second night neither of us slept.I likened the noise to a washing machine starting up and then fading out and almost immediately starting up again repeatably we did mention to the receptionist on leaving and as the noise seemed to come from outside suggested it could be a fan.We could not fault the hotel otherwise and will definatly be returning again.

The breakfast wasn't the best, bacon was too smokey, and the sausage was a bit hard. Also the scrambled egg was more like an omelette, felt like it was a different chef to the evening meal which was fabulous

They were unable to serve their normal meals as they had issues with the gas cooker. This was something beyond their control and the staff did everything they could to minimise the impact on guests. If did not diminish the experience at all.

Limited menu in restaurant, especially in the evenings - due to some breakdown in kitchen equipment.

Reception staff were excellent with checks in and out, local information and assistance throughout the stay.

My only downside was being woken up at 6am by a maintenance guy discussing needing linen room keys! Also, it's very creaky across that part of the landing, (alot of walking back and forth) so maybe they could just be mindful of noise that early. As someone who gets up at 5am 6 days a week - it was very frustrating being woken up at that hour!

The breakfast staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The whole breakfast was excellent, really great 👍 Our room was lovely, the matress was so comfy, great bathtub! Would definitely request this room again! I like that we had dressing gowns/slippers/iron and board and quality bathroom products, too. Nice touches 👌 The location is also perfect as it's central to everything. It's a ten minute walk to the train station, so it was perfect for us.

Everything was perfect except the room was a little hot . No free car-parking think it was £14 a day. where if you go to the one on the one way system think it was £6. But not the end of the world.

Location is in the centre of everything . The girl on the desk was lovely , should have taken her name to mention her , she helped us book up visits and recommended places to visit eat and anything we asked. Shakespeare house was 2 min walk a bit disappointing and Anne Hathways house 22 min walk which had more to see and a guid in every room, butterfly sanctuary 7 min walk, mad museum 3 min walk, Tudor museum was great 4 min walk , escape room 2 min away in the evening for the family to finish the day.

A wonderful old hotel in the heart of Stratford Upon Avon down the street from Shakespeare's Birthplace. Excellent breakfast and dinner.

The breakfast on the 2nd day was lovely but it had to be sent back due to lack of bread for toast and lack of glasses and juice, when I returned to my table my breakfast was cold so had to send it back.
