We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe didn’t get to use the hot tub as it took 4 - 6 hours to heat up ( wood fired). What a shame We also had a problem with the hot water and heating but when we reported this the following day, the woman did come and re-set it within 10 minutes

United KingdomPillows are getting a little bit flat but we managed to get comfortable eventually. The building is a little bit noisy with heavy doors slamming but it hasn't put us off coming back for a third time!
Very cosy and clean room. Perfect bath and shower. Lovely view. Staff are wonderful. The food was delicious! This is our second time staying in this room and we will definitely be back!

United KingdomIf you intend on using the hot tub on your first night then I would give it at least 6 hours with a roaring fire to heat up. We were a little disappointed on the first night because it didn't say anywhere that in the colder months it takes that long. However on the second night it was amazing! We sat and boiled in there for hours with the moon shining bright and the most perfect clear sky.
The staff were lovely and the food was amazing, bring your appetite because the portions are huge. We stayed in Bluebell and it was perfect. Such adorable little huts. Location is great walks in every direction. Just a short drive to the aquarium and south lakes safari zoo also.

Beautiful location and the shepherds huts have lots of privacy. Super easy to check in. Had eve try thing we needed for a short break.

United KingdomOur room was the double with the copper bath. The bath is really nice to look at, but is too big for that room. The room as a whole feels disjointed and the shower in the room was messy. We had little to no heating in the room as the boiler was on the blink, electric heaters were offered. We were there during temperatures down to -7, with plenty of ice on the roads. Lovely views from the small bedroom window.
Our welcome was warm and friendly. The staff were really helpful and answered all questions. Breakfast was really good, the choice was exceptional. Evening meal was very good and the amount plentiful. The log burner was really inviting and made you want to stay in the bar. So many lovely walks around the area.

United KingdomThe only issue we had was when there was an error with the hot tub, The staff didn’t know how to use it nor is there an instruction booklet. Luckily we googled it and it was a quick fix, but some staff training or some kind of book would be good for others. We managed but others might not.
The cottage had everything we needed, It felt like a home from home. The bed was soooo comfy, I didn’t want to get out of it. The balcony with the hot tub & the views was fabulous. We will definitely be back. Everything was spotlessly clean, Log fire was a great addition. Our dog loved it, She settled in so well.

United KingdomSadly the restaurant had no record of our table reservation...for new years eve! They managed to squeeze us in but it wasn't ideal and sounded like it happened regularly if you had the unfortunate experience of catching the owner on the phone.
Lovely little Shepherds hut, very private with its own grounds, hot tub and firepit. Great location onsite at the pub but far enough away not to hear any noise.
