The double room was a little small, bed was a little too near the window to access bed.

Breakfast was excellent, location was superb, parking included. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, very friendly.

A mild irritation is that the Inn is marketed as a no smoking establishment, however, at the bottom of the second flight of stairs, leading to the top floor bedrooms, there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke. It may have been coming from a private room/office, but was actually quite unpleasant.

The property was spotlessly clean. Our room was a superior double on the top floor. It was quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner on both days of our stay and the food was excellent and piping hot. The staff were friendly and efficient. Fresh milk was provided in a flask and could be replenished at any time. This was a nice touch.

Breakfast - good quality and excellent choice. Coffee rather variable. Dinner - we ate in twice. Reasonably good food - 'bar' standard with limited vegetables. Room - comfortable. Excellent TV. Cleaners very personable and effective. Car parking - excellent

The woolly sheep is in a perfect location central to where we wanted to be, it is delightful and quirky, the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Nothing really. We have stayed before. It is on the high end price wise.

Great, central position with parking included. Very nice room but it was up 2 flights of stairs (room 2). We weren’t made aware of this. Could have been a prob for some people. Heating was on in 5he bathroom but couldn’t make it come on in the bedroom. Not an issue. Clean but not spotless. Great breakfast. Lovely, cosy bar.

Breakfast fabulous, hot and plentiful, the waitress taking the orders was so helpful and pleasant. Room was massive, decor is stunning, lovely and warm. Bed very comfortable. Fan in the room helped as it became quite warm.

The location is excellent, right on the Main Street. All of the staff were excellent, very polite and friendly. Nothing was a bother to them. The food is first class. Breakfast is the best we’ve had and we have been to loads of n and b’s over the years. Beer garden is beautiful, heated and covered.

The heating was on very high in the bathroom and we were unable to turn it down. The rain shower had quite a few of the holes blocked and wasn’t working properly

The only thing i can think of and its only because of perso al preference is the bed could have been more comfortable but as i say personal preference as my parfner was fine

The breakfasf was fab a chice of everything cooked or not ,all the staff were extremely fdiendly and really willing to help and engage ,the location could not be faulted even though fhe room we had overlooked the main road there waz no noise at night we spdnt both evdnings in the Inn as it was such a nice atmosphere
