Pub was great, great selection of beers, locals friendly, staff fantastic, food excellent, great stopover for tunnel or ferry, great places to visit.

Was abit far away from where we needed to be. Loads of road works about which taxi driver wasn't aware of so cost more money but that out of your control

Excellent accommodation, stayed here for 3 nights while working in the area, great complex with ample parking. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an update but for the rate it’s excellent, shower was good. As for the pub and the food, wow, great traditional proper pub and the food was fantastic! Defo recommend.

Lovely rooms, really lovely stuff and very good dinners 😊 They're very welcoming and we appreciated hiw dog friendly the stuff were. Wonderful nature walks in the vicinity of the inn. Will definitely come back.

Cardiac Hill is exactly what it says may be a struggle if you have mobility issues make sure to let them know when booking there are rooms at the top

The rooms are like chalets so cute so dog friendly it was lovely seeing all the dogs staff were very friendly and helpful we really enjoyed our stay it’s perfect for a base if you want to go exploring

The shower was a little slow and one of the heads was missing, but this is a minor thing!

It was a beautiful location, and the perfect place to stay for us. We were cycling from London to the Kent coast and this was the ideal half way spot! The room was ready when we arrived, and was very spacious and clean. We thought the staff were really friendly and the food at the restaurant was really delicious, with lots of choice and great value.

The wooden chalets were comfortable and clean, it was very quaint to have your own private space away from the restaurant and bar, the winding pathways and lamps were lovely. The bar / restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere, the food was great too. The staff were very friendly and made us and our two Golden Retrievers very welcome offering water and dog biscuits. We only stayed one night, but it was very enjoyable.

Close proximity to Eurotunnel. Rooms have everything you need and are very clean. The Pub which is part of the property has excellent food. Staff were fantastic.

Parquet floor in bedroom - cold underfoot. However with heater on soon warmed up I requested a room where I could park car outside with car visible from window. Given a room where nearest parking was down hill and round corner

It’s lovely being in a separate building from the pub itself, easy to check in and friendly staff. Very quiet location, perfect for a quiet nights sleep. Gorgeous stylish room - spacious and well furnished with a stylish modern bathroom.

The TV had hardly any channels, not that it was a real problem, NO bottles of water in the room.

Food is lovely in the pub, breakfast was good, plenty of choice. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, very quiet, had a good sleep.
