Sausage and bacon a bit more well done, makes it more appealing.

The rooms were lovely, modern, and clean, I requested in advance if there was any available upgrades when we arrive could we have one to try so we know for next time. They were kind enough to met our request and they gave us and another couple we were with one of the lovely boutique rooms. We loved the band playing on Sunday afternoon they are amazing musicians and always do a fantastic set. It was sunny so they played outside but went inside as it got a bit cooler, the hotel itself is artdeco in style the main sitting/lounge area and is a great place for social gatherings with a fab atmosphere. Breakfast was okay, but cooking bacon/ sausage a little bit more well done is my preference, we usually stay at the dalmeny next door, but this is by far the better hotel now I have stayed and will be my hotel of choice in the future, everything about it was brilliant and we loved it.

The ‘spa’ facilities need some tlc .. advertised as a jacuzzi. No jacuzzi.. Bathroom had yellow stains around the toilet ,

room service, more bar staff better choice of menu,

the stay was very good however the room guide stated to book room service or book the gym or pool use the internal phone system but there was none. Around 21.15 my wife decided not to go out for dinner so i used my mobile to contact reception to order room service but was told this would not be available. I did call a local takeaway though. Also the bar was not attended well at times as the barmen was covering 2 bar one in the hotel and one in the grounds difficult for him frustrating for the guests. Not a very good menu in the bistro we would have exspected better froma three star hotel.

Our double room was very dated and dark. Bit pricey at bar but it is a hotel . Would recommend to friends

The family rooms were lovely and spacious. Breakfast was very good they did everything u could want for Breakfast .evening entertainment was good . Dave the night porter was brilliant .

The bathroom was very basic and plain. The bedroom lacked proper decorated walls and personal touch.

There was no phone in the room so if anything was needed you had to go down and the curtains did not shut properly so when the sun came up the room was very light

It was in a great location with friendly staff and nice rooms, breakfast was fab and the live music was great on the Friday night

There was no phone in the room so could not get room service and the bed was only inches from the bathroom door.Breakfast was adequate but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired.

The room was large and the view was very good.Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space.We thought the lift to the room very good.

Flush did not work on the toilet. Reported the issue and we were moved to another more spacious room next door within the hour.

Breakfast was lovely. Room was a little small but its what you expect when you take your pet with you. Location is excellent, right on the prom front. Entertainment very good in the afternoon and the sun came out to make it even better.

The room was a sea view, the breakfast was a Full English, good choice available and the location was just across the road and central to the pier, town etc. All this added to an enjoyable weekend for the family.

The first room we had was on the ground floor and the room above was very noisy, floorboards creaked and groaned whenever anyone trod on them. There was a lot of plumbing noise too. The hotel was very full, however the staff were able to move us to a different room on the 2nd floor for our last night and I slept wonderfully well, it was very peaceful though the hotel was very full. The breakfast was entirely self service.

My single room was like a cupboard nice but very small ! There was no table service so if I went down to breakfast alone with the dog I couldn’t get anything to eat! They had a revolving door dog wouldn’t go in !

No parking availablity at the hotel on arrival during a busy Easter Sunday and we were lucky to park opposite the hotel on the street to unload. Later were able to park on the premises. Children in the pool jumping around. I thought this was a spa hotel with adults only access to pool area. If it was adult only access at certain times I was not made aware.

Comfy bed and hot water on tap. Right on the sea front and live music during the day. Good value for money and dog friendly to most areas. Access to the pool but no jacussi as I thought was available. Nice hot breakfast.

This was a family celebration weekend. The staff were excellent and went the extra mile to make sure we (17 of us) had the best time possible. The rooms were good, the breakfast substantial and the location could not have been better for a family break.

Changing rooms and toilets from the basement need to improve.

The food was good, and locations . The family room has a very good size.
