The bed was very soft but ok.

Great location on the front, close to restaurants. Great view from the sea view room. Parking was ok, picked up the permits on arrival and managed to get spaces close enough to hotel.

It's an old building so the plumbing grumbles a lot and hot water took an age to come through.

The televisions aren’t tuned into anything g so you have to try & install an app to watch anything which was a total nightmare. The single room had no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes

unfortunately they forgot about my order so waited 30 minutes and none of the waiting staff even asked me why I was just sat there until they were closing up and the chef asked. It was advertised with the Irish bar attached-this was not open. I thought it would be good as solo traveller to have entertainment on site especially as New Years Eve-very disappointing

I asked the receptionist if they could please turn the heating down in our room as it was overly warm ( I couldn't find a way to turn it down myself), she did advise that we could do this ourselves at the bottom of the radiators but we could not find a dial or knob to change the setting; it looked like the standard dial/knob had been removed and the metal was too hot to try and change by hand.

The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. Our room had a beautiful sea view and had a very short walk into town centre. Breakfast was lovely and very filling.

The room we were given had wardrobe broken, room floor had a weird slope, was problem with the heating on that floor so radiator was not working. After reporting to the reception that its freezing in the room, small heating fan was placed in the room. The main bar was closed. Rooms needs updating.

After refusing to stay in that room, we were moved to other floor and got a bigger family room. The guy on the front desk was very polite and helpful.

There supposed to be a live band on Saturday evening however due to staff shortage the bar was closed.

We booked a family suite and it had a great view over the pier and sea. The location is perfect for a walk around the coast or to visit the town center

Everything was great, fantastic value for money in a seafront location. We checked in during the early hours due to travel difficulties and staff were still very helpful at that hour!
