One annoying problem was the sound of the kitchen fan outside the bedroom window. Luckily it switched off when cooking finished.

The room was clean and the bedlinen and towels were clean and of excellent quality. The location was perfect for us - as we wanted to visit the Golden Valley, Hereford and the three castles. We stayed for 2 nights and ate two excellent evening meals at the pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a basic but filling breakfast. Excellent value for money.

There was some work being done in the room next door, and it was quite noisy until about 10pm. Also early in the morning there was some kind of generator being switched on that was just under our room and was quite noisy in the morning.

Very minor point - the bedroom door hinges needed oiling as they creaked loudly.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. A good full English breakfast was included in the price. Our group was composed of three couples plus a baby and the three bedrooms in this country pub were ideal for our purposes. Two of the rooms had kingsize beds and en-suites, while the third room had twin beds with its bathroom for sole use just along the landing. We ate in the pub the first night and the food was good. We were attending a wedding at Dewsall Court and the pub was just over two miles away, so great location. (BEWARE: if going to Dewsall Court, best take the route along the B4348 which goes over the level crossing and then take first left. Our satnav told us to turn left further along the road and that route went down a narrow road which became a very rough track with nowhere to turn.)

The room we had must have been near to the boiler room as it was very warm, despite not having any heating on in the room, and there was a droning noise all night, which sounded like a heating system.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable, but didn't disturb our sleep too much.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. My wife developed flu on Sunday evening, and couldn't get out of bed on Monday morning - the lady in the kitchen gave me toast and cereal to take to my wife for her to eat in bed. Staff went out of their way to help us. Sunday lunch was superb - the roast beef was beautifully cooked, and all of the vegetables were perfect - highly recommended. The pub had a good selection of real ale.

An alarm that sounded like an old radio clock going off for an hour at 6 am. Not an ideal start to a day where driving for 5 hours!

The only thing I’d say is that it was very hot at night - but rather this than it be too cold. It would also be helpful if there were some toiletries like soap or shower gel.

We had a lovely stay at The Three Horseshoes Inn. We were able to check in earlier and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning! It felt cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Pub was a bit cold (lack of heat not ambience)

Friendly pub with nice food. Room was very comfortable and had the facilities you could expect (tea/coffee, hairdryer). Good location, quiet, but with access to a main road nearby which leads to various locations.

I thought I was in an ensuite room but the bathroom was nearby. There were a couple of defects in the room - bulb broken and handles on draws. It was a little cold when I first arrived but I appreciate there was no double glazing. It was warm during the night.

Chef catered for me as a vegetarian.

Cooked breakfast had been mainly pre cooked, pity as they only have three rooms. I would prefer to wait a little longer and everything cooked fresh.

I would like to say that the staff went above and beyond when my husband was taken ill on Saturday (11th) after dinner. The staff were so considerate, kind and caring. We were able to stay an extra night.

We only had 2 minor issues 1) we had problems receiving the WiFi in our room but this didn't cause us to much inconvenience and 2) the bathroom door didn't close properly but as we were family this also wasn't to much of an issue.

Breakfast was lovely, very tasty. The room was clean and tidy and excellent value for the price.
