Throphill Grange is in a beautiful location. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious! Jane, our host, was friendly and helpful and enabled us to make the most of our first visit to the area.

This was an amazing place to stay the room and house is beautifully furnished and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The host Jane is obviously an amazing cook and the breakfast was of a very high standard I would definitely recommend and revisit

When arriving for the first time, take care to follow the host’s directions to the property as the turning is easy to miss!

My bedroom was spacious with very comfortable bed and sofa. Fresh garden flowers were a lovely touch and there was a great selection of teas and coffee. I had a large bathroom with excellent walk in shower. The property is in a beautiful rural location with views across the fields, within easy reach of coastal and inland areas of Northumberland. The property is decorated and equipped to a very high standard with plenty of parking. Jane was very friendly and welcoming and provided lots of advice and suggestions about local attractions and restaurants. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious, made using top quality ingredients.

Beautiful location, the room was perfect with lots of little touches that made all the difference to our stay. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Walking distance to nearest pub. Would not hesitate to go back if in the area again. You won't regret booking. Beats a hotel anyday.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We had the whole of the upper floor which was fabulous. The wet room was very modern and had a power shower. all the furnishing were of a high standard and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the library was lovely. The host Jane was so nice and looked after us so well. There was an outside patio that you could use. I would recommend Throphill Grange 100%.

Excellent location in a beautiful setting. The host Jane was lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. My partner is gluten free and she went above and beyond to cater for his needs. Breakfast was excellent, an ocean of fruit on top of granola and yoghurt, and lots of choice on the menu if you wanted it. Breakfast was served in lovely room full of books and beautiful furniture.

A signpost on the road where you turn to go down the lane to the property would help as was a little confusing as to where to go
