The area immediately surrounding the area was extremely dirty, it looked like a local fly tip.

The rooms, bedding, and towels were very clean and fresh.

The hot water didn't work, the hotel need in general a refreshment.

It was close to the university, you can reach the center of Manchester very fast with public transportation.

The room didn't have anywhere to hang clothes up which wasnt ideal as we were travelling for a last min work event. there was abit of a funny smell in the building and its quite noisy. The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were really flat we asked if there was spares to be given one highly stained pillow with no case on it. We chose not to stay for the 2nd night we paid for. The carpet felt sticky/dirty when you walked on it.

The place was extremely dirty. The carpets were dirty and smelling. There was a lot of noise in the building. I think the hotel is being used as a hostel.

Good location near several bus stops at an attractive price compared to city centre hotels. The room was clean, the staff very friendly. Good bathroom and tea, I coffee and a kettle in the room ⁸

Everything, I’m so cross. It’s filthy, noisy, rotten, I feel it is currently being used as a hostel, kids running wild, non English people everywhere talking, singing, laughing, playing music on phones in the corridor, the window didn’t close properly, so huge draught all night blowing the blind, the whole place stinks of marijuana. Literally just a bed and a desk, broken bedside lamp. Plug sockets didn’t work, the chair at the desk had broken legs. Mould in the bathroom, the drain in the shower stank. First night I slept with my AirPods in as I thought it can’t be too bad and I was just being silly, but the second night the fire alarm went off twice around midnight, no one knew what to do and how to use the control panel, it was horrendous. No one spoke English and couldn’t advice me on anything. I left the hotel at 2am and went to my sons. The photos on here do not show this place in it’s true colours. I used it as a short stay while visiting my son. The price is shocking for how much I paid to stay there. This should never be allowed. This place needs condemning and it’s an embarrassment to booking.com. I’m struggling to upload photos but I have taken everything.

Noisy door slamming in the morning! The pedestrian lamp on the zebra crossing beeps every 3 minutes!! The carpet stinks! The radiator cannot be installed. Either it turns off after 1 minute or it heats up to 25 degrees, which is too hot!!! Better go to an expensive hotel than here if you want to sleep!!!

I enjoyed my stay most of the times apart from some hours while some construction work was going on, may be they needed to finish it early then. Anyway I didn’t have any problem at all.

For single room it is worth it spending 45pounds with secured gate, good ventilation, spacious washroom and nice bed with comfortable duve. And the staff were friendly.

Everything. The room was dirty, smelly, unclean and ruined. Ripped wall paper, silver fish living in the damp in the carpet, the building stinks of mould, the bathroom stinks of wee, the fan was rusty and dusty, the pictures were not like online, there were brown splatter marks up the walls, handles missing from bedside tables, the filthiest tv remote I've ever seen in my life, stains on the blind, windows sill, bedsheets and every item of furniture. I requested to move rooms and pointed out all of the faults and was told ‘you can cancel if you don't like it’

Dirty towels. Wardrobe broken and unstable. Absolutely freezing and no heating. Rain/water noise drops all night from gutters
