Watch your head as you get out of bed, bumped my head on the sloped roof a couple of times, for us though it was a belly laugh moment so didn’t see the negative side to that, hot water went on the last night aswel, I know if I had told them though they would of sorted it but as it was the last night I didn’t feel the need, plus a cold shower in the morning definitely wales you up :)

The owners were so lovely, they made us cookies, which may I add were very nice, a bottle of wine and were just generally nice ppl, we left very early and they made sure they were up just to wave us off. It was lovely seeing the animals and seeing how hard the owners work, very helpful and friendly ppl and have made it a very closet and warm place to stay with more than enough space.

Bed was slightly too soft for me, but that's just personal it may be just right for someone else.

Lovely personal touches and on arrival there were fresh eggs, milk, and homemade Welsh Cakes. The accommodation has everything you need for a relaxing time away, and the hosts were friendly :)

    Everything was perfect!

The cottage was complete with all the amenities needed. There's cereal, bread, milk and other stuff you need for cooking. Janice even brought us a freshly made Welsh cake and a bottle of wine! The heating is perfect the whole time we were there. Beds are comfortable and so are the living room. We stayed in most of the days because of the weather and it was the best idea. It's 10 minutes walk to the bus stop to get you to Caernarforn, a small town that's nice to visit. Would definitely come back for a stay again someday.

The sink in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned and someone before me had clearly shaved and left stubble all around the tap. Otherwise, the cottage was clean and tidy.

Location was great. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and there were homemade mince pies and a bottle of wine set out for me on arrival. Great facilities, I didn't need to bring anything with me really.

What a great place to stay in rural Wales. The cottage is on a working farm with owners Mike & Janice making us feel very much at home. Delicious home made welsh cakes as well as fresh milk, wine & breakfast provisions were much appreciated. Extremely comfortable bed. Beautiful country outlook. Loved seeing the newborn calves.

The only thing we had a problem with, was having to leave to go home! Thanks again.

The property is in a lovely location away from all the hustle and bustle of town life in a quiet countryside setting. In the kitchen there was a choice of breakfast cereal and a basket of eggs and some home made Welsh cakes which were very, very tasty. The owner was always available if you had queries and they where always willing to help in any way. The accommodation was spotless and you wanted for nothing, it is certainly a place you will love to stay, and we will be going back again for another short break as soon as we are able, Thank you so much.

    N/A

Having stayed in Wales a few times before, and in multiple locations elsewhere, this is by far the best place we have stayed at. Janice and her family were incredibly welcoming from the start. They made us feel trusted and welcome from the onset of our stay and were polite and conversational throughout. Not only, for a self-catered stay, did the house come well stocked, Janice had also lovingly baked us a homemade fruit cake and left us a bottle of wine for our stay. The cupboards and fridge have everything in that you could need, and then some. We stayed for two nights. On both of our nights we returned wet and cold from the weather outside, the house heats up very quickly and there is a perfect size bath that fits two snugly. The bed was very large, and the bedding very soft and comfortable - making it hard to want to get up and explore. The setting is idyllic, with mountains from the bedroom and kitchen window and beautiful cows right in the fields next door. But if you're worried that they'll wake you up, the double glazed windows keep all noise out. It was perfect staying in such a remote location - not far from the highstreet, but far enough to hear no sounds of traffic - pure bliss. Everything about this setting was perfect and we will be sure to return next time. The taxi fare from this location to the Miners track was £20 for a 15-20 minute ride, which was great between 4 of us - we picked two up along the way. The taxi fare from the high street back to the location on bank holiday was £12.
