What could have been better? Nothing. What didn't we like? Leaving so soon.

Tonni and David have a most beautiful and comfortable B&B. We were welcomed in as soon as we got out of the car and shown into the beautifully decorated lounge and offered refreshments straight away. They both made us feel very welcome . Everywhere was spotlessly clean and lavishly decorated and our bedroom very comfortable, with a choice of comfy pillows to use. Many different teas, coffees and hot chocolate (husband very happy), lovely home-made cakes, etc. Complimentary White Company products in bathroom with soft white fluffy towels. Attention to detail in abundance here along with two very hospitable friendly hosts who are always on hand to help. Weren't we the lucky ones to find Tyndale!!

The greeting, friendliness of our hosts and showing us every detail of our room and facilities. The attention to detail was amazing. One thing that greatly impressed me was the double reach waiter's friend corkscrew - not many people would have provided these or realised how much more useful they are in opening wine bottles!

There was nothing to dislike.

Our hosts, David and Tonny, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Due to plane and train delays, we arrived quite late. They picked us up from the station and offered us refreshments when we got to the B&B. They were great hosts, whose attention to detail was second to none in making guests comfortable . The five-star rated breakfast menu was exceptional and of the finest quality. I would thoroughly recommend that anyone visiting Torquay stay at the Tyndale as it is exceptional. This is mainly down to the hosts.

We absolutely loved the personal touches. From greeting us at the door with a brolly to remembering what we both like for breakfast or the cakes in the room etc. The cleanliness and customer service was above and beyond. It felt very homely and welcoming, you certainly aren’t just a number.

Within easy walking distance of local amenities. Our room was absolutely perfect, David and Tonny have thought of everything! Breakfast was amazing, such a huge choice. Loved the bath towels and the hot towels when we arrived were much appreciated.

We had an amazing stay at Tyndale B&B for my girlfriend’s birthday. Dave and Tony were wonderful hosts – warm, friendly, and so thoughtful. They surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco, roses, and a birthday card in the room, which was such a lovely gesture. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent each morning. Everything was perfect – highly recommended

David & Tonny really go the extra mile! Superb greeting when we arrived and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. They've simply thought of everything you could possible need and everywhere is spotlessly clean. One of the nicest breakfasts we've eaten at any hotel. They even presented us with a little goodie bag of cake & fruit for our journey home. We'll definitely be back!

We were given a warm welcome. David and Tonny are very friendly hosts. Everywhere was clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts. We also loved all the extras - free snacks and drinks, pillow menu, giving useful information. The ambience was very ,pleasant and relaxing. We would highly recommend! .

Nothing other than for us it wasn’t as central to bars etc as we would have liked but worth it for the excellent accommodation.

The guest house was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. They provided excellent breakfast all very fresh and even extras like cake, biscuits and chocolates left in the room daily.

Nothing at all! It was truly perfect! Tonny and David were the best hosts,they made us feel welcome and we’ll definitely be back. All the little things they did, like getting our bags and the cake/ tea making facilities/ breakfast was epic. Can’t fault this beautiful place with beautiful people !
