Very disappointed in our bed as it was two single beds pushed together ,never slept properly as we were right by the doors and constant noise from people returning for entertainment , shouting and talking loudly or children jumping off step and shouting!,we had a constant knocking noise all night in our room and we couldn't find where noise was coming from ,me and my husband came away for a break as we have had been given bad news recently and it's been a very upsetting few weeks for us ,that why we booked as we normally have a great time. I wished we moved to another room ,but couldn't afford to upgrade.we booked a break very quickly just days before our arrival as the room only as we couldn't afford the dining package .apart from that we had a great time swimming and walked into Torquay town centre.

Our room was on the ground floor with access to the outside seating area.

I chose this hotel for the entertainment but there was not any on this particular weekend it was dedicated to teams that played games. This was going on in the arcade area and the entertainment area.

The room was a good size, the bed was on the small size for a double and the pillows were rock hard and very uncomfortable. The room is dated but clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was buffet style but fresh and tasty. The entertainment at this hotel is usually amazing unfortunately we chose the wrong weekend. There were skittle matches going on that took over the whole hotel, I will watch out for this next time I book.

The rooms were far too hot, the floor boards were creaky, beds severely uncomfortable, had to keep going to reception for new key cards for our doors as the kept stopping working. Had to pay an extra £10 per night for parking and had to pay an extra £10.95 for each person for each day for breakfast which was quite limited and had cheap sausages and cheap beans, fried bread was so hard had to soften it up with beans and tomatoes, bacon was also really hard.

We had stayed before, they had a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room.

The bed was not overly comfortable, and the room was clean but more basic than expected, toilet door kept jamming and toilet flusher was faulty and hard to flush

Not quite the continental brekfast that was promised. Not an overly great choice

Some areas in the hotel are a little tired looking but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment and I understand that the hotel are making improvements little by little.

Facilities are brilliant, the staff were all friendly / helpful and the entertainment was excellent. Food choices were also very good - Alberts Bar in particularly, was great value for money. The refurbished apartments were also much better during this stay. We had a wonderful time and will be returning - thank you!

Car parking outside of your particular hotel can sometimes be awkward

The hotel is located within walking distance of the beach and bars and restaurants. There is also lots to do in the hotel with soft play and ten pin bowling plus a swimming pool and spa.

Parking . Spaces very small for people with large cars . Someone hit my car whilst I was there and damaged the bumper . Taxi services . Reception ordered us a taxi , and after several calls they still failed to turn up . We hailed one from the street in the end . Not the hotels fault , but you need a service your guests can rely on . We were late for our appointment.

Location . The apartment was the right size , but very tired . Bathroom switch was dodgy and extractor fan didn’t work

The hotel looks dated and needs an upgrade . some part carpets are hold together by tape. Squeaking flooring.

The location was great. Not far from the beach. The atmosphere was very good, and my nine year old loved the place. The hotel is massive. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs. I liked both the swimming pools in and out. Also the spa.

Uncomfortable double bed, some areas really unclean and dirty. All main doors always appear open until very late at night it says they close but they were all still open! Think security needs to be maintained!

This Property is huge , there’s 4 hotels and they are joined making it easy access to go from one to another if wanting to use different areas. Such as there is plenty of choices where to go to eat and drink. You can add a breakfast option to you’re stay if you like and a meal from the restaurant , we stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was fairly big to be fair. The bathroom was clean and tidy as were the bedding however the kitchen was as clean with cobwebs on the walls and splatter on the tiles. Our beds were made on arrival and bathroom towels were provided along with some sachets in the kitchen of milk and coffee etc. the sofa is a sofa bed making additional area to sleep and there was a single bed room which my daughter said was comfortable but she would have preferred a bedside lamp the main bedroom was great size with plenty of storage , extra pillows and blanket in wardrobe however and a hair dryer and fans in both bedroom . the bed is very uncomfortable and lumpy could really do with up grading mattresses. We barely spent any time in apartment other than for sleeping. There is a huge indoor pool and smaller pool and jacuzzi, the jacuzzi is great , smaller pool is fine and warmish there a steam room, gym and sauna. The main pool is huge it’s stayed it was 29 degrees but on our first time it was freezing cold but the second time using it it was less cold still very cool but didn’t feel it so much once swimming around. There no slides in the pools but you can take you’re own inflatables They have a bar / restaurant called Alberts, it’s really modern , clean and serves good food as does the bistro in the Victoria the pizzas were just great.
